1. Review of grades earned on My Big Campus Feature Article Research unit assignments 2. Reflect upon student/teacher online communication and interaction, conversations which revolve around My Big Campus threads and posts, and general observations regarding classroom social environment 3. Discussion with each English class regarding My Big Campus 1. likes and dislikes 2. benefits 3. suggestions 4. Post this link to My Big Campus and ask students to complete short survey anonymously (approx. 2 hours)
Post final due date and expectations along with rubric to My Big Campus.
Create a listing (Google doc) of public domain sites students can use to locate appropriate and "free" images. Place the link to the doc in My Big Campus. (1 hour)
Create a Google doc listing steps to feature rough-drafting to aid students in their independent work pace. Place the link in My Big Campus within the Feature Step by Step. (1.5 hours)
Create an Assignment in My Big Campus for students' Works Cited. Create and attach the rubric to the assignment as well as an example. Additionally, create and link screencasts for EasyBib to the Assignment as well as to my Wall. (3 hours)
Involves: Creation and attachment of Feature Article scaffolding; creation and attachment of sample feature to My Big Campus; responding to student questions and concerns posted to my Wall in My Big Campus; teacher revision of student feature rough draft submissions (6 hours)
At end of Revolutionary War unit, post survey to My Big Campus to allow for anonymous student feedback. 9Creation of and posting survey assignment to My Big Campus - 30 minutes)
