Campus Public Affairs puts out a press announcing that the building is safe. The package found earlier contained an unknown powdered substance and was taken to the nearest Center for Disease Control in Atlanta. The two women who found the package were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
MSCNE Red gets a call that the North Student Center for Teaching and Learning was evacuated after a suspicious package was found and smoke had been seen coming from the building.
15 people were evacuated.
