5- The XYZ affair was the French demand for a bribe that came to be called that. This is important because we almost went to another war but we didn't because John Adams wanted to be nuetral.
4- These were the parties that people made to express their thoughts in a more powerful way. The parties are the Federalist party, led by John Adams, and the Democratic-Republican Party, led by Thomas Jerfferson. This is important because we still today have 2 political parties 200 years later.
1- George Washington was the first U.S president. He did many great things such as, led us in war, set the government off to a good start, and many more things. He is important because of his leadership as president.
3- A rebellion of French people against their king. The king was King Louie. This is important because this revolution created the republican government.
