Rita Maria Pannikpak Walton, 27, of North Pole was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks police noticed her nearly cause an accident while pulling in front of another vehicle early Saturday on 24th Avenue near Cushman Street. A chemical test found her breath-alcohol content to be 0.111.

essica Lee Harris, 26, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks police pulled her over for driving with expired tags Saturday night in the 1400 block of Cushman Street. A chemical test found her breath-alcohol content to be 0.112.

Heather M. Burnham, 22, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks police responded to a report Saturday night of a vehicle hitting a utility pole at the intersection of College Road and Spruce Street. Burnham had to be extracted from the vehicle with the help of the Fairbanks Fire Department, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. A chemical test found her breath-alcohol content to be 0.114.

Michael Leach, 48, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks police observed him driving erratically early Saturday on Airport Way near Peger Road. Leach failed a field sobriety test and refused to participate in others, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.
He also was charged with refusal to submit to a chemical test and driving with a suspended license.

Lora L. Harding, 40, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks police witnessed her lose control of her vehicle early Saturday morning on the Old Steese Highway near College Road. Harding allegedly tried to pull away from the officer and kick him while under arrest, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. She also was charged with refusal to submit to a chemical test and resisting arrest.

Morris T. Demoski, 30, of Fairbanks was charged with fourth-degree assault after he allegedly punched a woman in the face Saturday night. He was taken into custody after a brief struggle with Fairbanks International Airport Police. He also was charged with resisting arrest.

Michael Etheredge, 24, of North Pole was charged with driving under the influence after Alaska State Troopers observed him speeding Wednesday on Badger Road near the North Pole Safeway. A chemical test found his breath-alcohol content to be 0.100, more than the legal limit of 0.08 to operate a motor vehicle.

Fairbanks police are investigating a burglary that occurred at Ping’s Cleaners on Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
Someone apparently got on top of the business and entered through a roof fan to take cash from the register.
Damage to the fan was estimated at $4,000.
The register, which was valued at $500, contained a small amount of money. Damage to the restaurants’s windows was estimated at $600.

Richard Thomas Thorne, 37, of North Pole was charged with driving under the influence after North Pole police stopped him for not having license plate lights Tuesday on the Old Richardson Highway near Holland Aviation Road. A chemical test found his breath-alcohol content to be 0.078.
Police also swabbed his nose and discovered cocaine residue, according to a criminal complaint filed in court.

Christina R. Ahgook, 30, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after authorities found her vehicle stuck in snow early Monday night on Phillips Field Road near Pioneer Road. A chemical test found her breath-alcohol content to be 0.288.

Dorsha G. Garcia, 18, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks International Airport Police spotted her speeding Monday on Airport Way near Market Street. A chemical test found her breath-alcohol content to be 0.109.
Police also found marijuana in her vehicle, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. She was charged with driving without a valid license and misdemeanor drugs misconduct as well.

Clyde Everette Konichek, 20, was charged with driving under the influence after University of Alaska Fairbanks police witnessed him hit a curb and make an improper lane change Sunday on University Avenue near Geist Road. A chemical test found his breath-alcohol content to be 0.114. He also was charged with minor consumption.

Jeremiah Anthony Leisure, 35, of Fairbanks was charged with driving under the influence after Fairbanks police responded to the scene of a rollover accident Sunday on Airport Way near Wilbur Street. Leisure smelled of alcohol and failed field sobriety tests, according to a criminal complaint filed in court. He also was charged with refusal to submit to a chemical test.
