alluding to darwinism... in the social media world the ones who survive - the fittest - are the ones who give the most
we enable thru tools, and learner-centred practice
we lead by example
we aren't formally taught how to do this
how to we build networks
how do we get people to contribute
sorry not capturing this well - it's a bit beyond me
social presence - as people project the self that helps them to learn
lots of people in formal education tend to feel that social learning is all very well in informal contexts but is problematic in formal contexts
the learning thru the blog became more relevant
comments would change directions of the blogging
blogging is a form of verbalisation that helps with problem solving
the point is - words are important
but the process of writing stuff down was useful nonetheless
no-one read it initially
