In the simulation, I lived to be 25 years of age
Standard of living means a level of material comfort in terms of goods and services available to someone or some group. My standard of living in Rwanda is low because the country is dirty and pour. Here are three things from my Real Life that show my standard of living in Rwanda. 1) I died at 25 years of age, 2) I had many diseases, 3) I couldn't make much money. Colonization has influenced the standard of living in this country in the following two ways. 1) We now have more supplies, 2) It is easier to treat some diseases.
One difficulty I faced in my life was a genocide. Over one million people in my small country were killed. This is uncommon in my country. This genocide impacted my country because much of our population was gone. It will not be easy for my country to recover from this because many people despise others and we lost much of our population.
GDP means the market value of all goods and services produced within a country in a given period and the GDP in Rwanda is 6.5%. As a beggar in Rwanda I am making $50. I live on $0.13 a day.
One difficulty I faced in my life was contracting malaria. Here is a detail about malaria. This disease is common in Rwanda and about one-third of the people in Rwanda get malaria. Something Rwanda could do to prevent malaria is kill and the bugs and insects that carry malaria and stay away from bugs.
Literacy rate means the amount of people in a given area with the ability to read and write. The literacy rate in Rwanda is 70.4. Something that happened in my Real Life that illustrated this education is some of the people in my family got into trade school and some didn't.
My life expectancy in Rwanda is 57.46 compared to 78.24 in the United States. One reason for the difference in life expectancy is the health care in each country. Two details about my life are that i am from Butare and I have indigenous beleifs
The reasons Rwanda became independent from Belgium are Belgians were making everyone hate each other and they started the genocide. Despite becoming independent, one way Belgium influence is still seen is the Hutu people are still in power.
Before Europeans, Rwanda was a country with no ruler or president and everyone was equal. The Belgians were interested in the area of Rwanda because they had resources like methane, wolfram, and cassiterite.
