Long before the days of the creepy computer-generated candies, the candies come to us ON the computer. In this ad, I'm guessing the computer was just thrown in for novelty, since 1982 or so was the year that PCs came into use. Unfortunately, this stuff is now kitsch, like the iPod jokes on the Simpsons or excitement over TVs in that 1947 "Popeye" short.
