1,200 minutemen were stationed at Bunker Hill near Boston and were low on ammo. Even though the British won the battle they had 1000 wounded or dead. That's when the British realized the war would not be easy.

Delegates from 9 colonies joined together in the stamp act congress and sent a petition to King George and Parliment asking them to repeal the stamp act.
To prevent Natve Americans from attacking Colonial Settlers, Briatin made the Appalachian Mountains the border of the colonies. This anger many Colonist who owned land west of the montains.
