Leo Varadkar - JOBS
Job losses are destroying families and crippling the economy. A new Government must protect existing jobs and create new jobs as we close the budget gap and give people back their dignity. To realistically plan for job creation in the future, Fine Gael will invest in new energy, water and telecoms infrastructure and generate thousands of new jobs. Over the next four years, Fine Gael's Growth and Jobs Strategy will add on average 20000 jobs each year. We intend to cut employers' PRSI and change the welfare system to encourage job creation. We will abolish the airport departure tax. And we will invest an extra €7bn over the next 4 years to build essential new infrastructure in broadband, green energy and water networks.

Fine Gael's 5 Point Plan to Recovery
Let's get Ireland working 5 Point Recovery Plan Ireland is in the middle of the biggest crisis in the history of the State. There are no easy answers or quick fixes. But we are optimistic that the road to recovery is there with the right leadership and the will to reinvent, re-imagine and reform our Nation. It is going to take hard work to get the country back on an even footing and to get Ireland working again. Fine Gael believes we can get Ireland working together. It is vital that the next government is given the backing to do the job. Fine Gael has the plan to get our country back on track. We have both the leadership and the people to implement the plan successfully. We are asking for the support of Irish voters to allow us to do the job properly. Here are the 5 points that we believe are absolutely essential to get Ireland working again -- we call them our 5 Point Recovery Plan.

Thank You for Sharing Your Views
As you are now aware this website was hacked on the evening of January 9th. Fine Gael is now assisting the relevant authorities in their investigations. We very much regret that contact data that the public supplied as part of an open and genuine conversation about the future of our country was accessed in the course of this hacking incident. This video I recorded at the end of last week was a response to the overwhelming participation on the site, since going live. In my view this is just the beginning. We still want to hear from you. We still think your voice should be heard. Many thanks for your continued support and participation. Enda Kenny Leader Fine Gael

Enda Kenny Please Share Your Views
Fine Gael want to invite people from all walks of life to join with us and help build our plans and ideas for the country. We are particularly interested in your ideas on how we can clear the barriers to employment and how we can get people back to work. To help this process Fine Gael has decided to set aside the Party website for three to four weeks and replace it with a facility for the public to contribute their ideas and thoughts on jobs, the economy, politics, the health service, and other issues. Too often, political parties and politicians talk too much and don't listen to what the people have to say. It is important, now, more than ever, that the political system and politicians listen to what the Irish public have to say. Therefore, Fine Gael will spend the coming weeks of the New Year listening to your ideas ahead of the General Election.
