Artical 41 of the Union Act was passed in 1848. It leggalized Frence lanuge in parliment and courts . This came in good use because Frace had once owned Quebec.
Quebec Act was sighned in 1774. It was an act that said that people could not protest against other peoples faiths. Anyone who dissobayed the law was sent to jail or even killed.
Seven Year's War was started in 1735. It was against the French and the Brittish in attempt to own Quebec. Later on insted of either country claime of it, Canada did. The war ended in 1759.
