Okay seriously these girls are FUN !!! They can be fierce also as you can see from the MUGGIN photo above. I would not want to be on 2nd base with them trying to get me OUT !!! I shot JV & Varsity this day and have a make up photo day tomorrow also. It was fun cause I dig natural light so this was right up my alley. I will be posting more of the JV and team shots SOON !!! Thanks to Coach Jessi for letting me come out and have some fun. I'm gonna try to do some MUGGIN myself !!! hahaha

Be sure to check out the ENTIRE gallery.....if your a client of mine you just might see yourself in there !!! I had such a fun day today !!! It started off at 7 AM at our local Dixon High School !!! They were having a job/career fair and they asked me to show up. I only had 2 days to really set up and I didn't have a entire "presentation" set up for job fairs but the night before got one all set up. I didn't have the time to print ALL my teen clients photos to display but got a good number of them up there. I had the best time and all the kids were so nice. I really enjoy talking to teens and appreciated how nice they all were to me. They asked questions, looked at all the pics and were just awesome !!! So thanks to DHS for asking me to come out. I hope I get the chance again next year !!!

Every photographer has his/her own style. My dad loves to give me a bad time about cutting my subjects heads off......This post is dedicated to him !!!! I love trying to do new things, new styles and YES I love to cut your HEAD OFF !!!! I don't need to see your face to know there is sass, spunk and a big smile plastered across it.......Do you see the same vision I do ? I'm back in the saddle again in this new year of 2010. Our family had a nice holiday up in Lake Tahoe for several days. The kids had a blast snowmobiling and playing in the snow. Santa also showed up to complete the white Christmas we were having. Actually it wasn't a true white Christmas as it wasn't snowing on the day. Oh well !!I had a very busy December getting everyone in for their holiday photo sessions !!! I had lots of fun and will be posting little snippets of the photos on the blog today for your viewing pleasure. Our family is in high gear with both kids playing basketball and looking forward to the swim season and the nicer weather ahead. If your not a fan on FACEBOOK yet.....why not ? Last night I attended my first San Francisco SmugMug Photographers meeting. I got my "wing woman" to go with me and we drove the 62.7 miles to Burlingame. It was awesome and I'm even more motivated now. [b]ecker was amazing and even though he says he's not a "motivational speaker" he really made me think about so many things. I'm STOKED and ready to take on my future !!! He was kind and generous to everyone there and was very down to earth. You can check out his blog/website here. I have been following/stalking him on his blog for about 2 years now and it was a treat to finally hear him speak in person. At the end of the night he asked that we all stick around and make 2 new friends, get their business cards, chat with them and then spend some time on their website. I came home from running errands today and saw something on my porch. A magazine with a note attached to it. The magazine was Vacaville Magazine and I was curious to read what the note said. It was from my former bride Sara and her husband Jose. She said to turn to page 64 and see what I helped them do ! WOW !!!!! The wedding was published and they used 3 of the photos that "Stephanie Riedel Photography" took at the wedding. It was myself and my second shooter Cyndi Wiley that was able to capture the essence of that day. What an amazing day Sara & Jose's wedding was. Full of cool details, amazing touches and lots of love to go around. Sara could be a wedding designer in a heartbeat !! I will always appreciate Sara & Jose in so many ways !! They had faith in me and shared my vision of what I was able to create. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day !!! I have done three photo sessions with them now and each one gets better and better. I can't wait to be able to capture their lovely family as the years go on !!! XXOO to you both !!

This little girl is a cutie patootie !!!!!! The parents received a gift certificate from their good friend Michelle for a in home photo session after the baby was born. What a great gift for a new mom so that she does not have to leave the house ! Thanks Michelle for getting the gift certificate and Thanks Stacy for letting me come to your beautiful home and take photos of the cuteness !!!! ;)p.s. I had to get in a shot of your doggie !!!! ;)
