Causes which had the result of the Civil War has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.

The issue was that the people could not decide who with the election, and a new party came in place which was the costintutional union party they believed that other than the costitution we had no other laws. 2. In the election douglas, Breckinridge, and Bell knew that neither of them would most likely win. Even if two of them did not win they still hoped that someone besides Lincoln would win. Lincoln won which angered the southeners that voted against him. 3. the specific events that led up to this was the electional problems before the Costitutional Union Party was created to help solve some of those problems by creating laws. 4. The south reacted as if their power was being taken away because of lincoln becoming president, so the south considered dropping out of the Union. Which created the confederate states of America, which had a new costitution and rights of rules. The president of the south was Jefferson Davis. 5. The unions were separated into the Confederate states of America and the Union Sates of America. 6. The impact this had is that the differences between the North and South were so many that the south had to separate. This means that there is now two presidents Abraham Licoln, and Jefferson Davis.
1. John Brown wanted to start an uprising in Viginia, so he wanted to go there seize weapons and capture any whites in his standing way. 2. John Brown and his twenty men were involved and they wanted to begin a slave rebellion and free slaves. 3. The specific event that led up to the raid on Harpers Ferry was a way of the uprising John Brown wanted in 1858. 4.What was decided was that there was a raid of the firehouse by Federal troops and the rest of the men were captured and Brown as well too. Some of the men were sentenced to death and Brown was convicted of murder. the court said that John Brown was to be hanged because if this is the movemenyt people wanted to take why would you create violence. 5. John brown was hanged and people started believing that violence was noty the answer. 6. This impact was that there was an act towards slavery stopping but it was not nessacary to have violence be a part of that act.
1. The problem was that Lincoln and Douglas were both running for Senate which created these debates. 2. Lincoln did not want slavery to keep spreadinbg west, and also talked about the Dread Scott Decision, and that African Americans should be allowed to have all the natural rights we do. Where as Douglas said that if every state became a free state it would just end in war. 3. The events that led up to this event were the Dred Scott's decision in the case. 4. Douglas said that it did not matter how the case was ruled, but what the people please. Which means the police would inforce the decision by the people even if it's the opoite of the supreme court. 5. The freeport Doctrine which means the issue of slavery was now in the hands of the people. 6. The impact was that the citizens could try and solve the issue of slavery by themselves and not keep letting the court rule.
1. The problems that were already excisting in America was that Political Parties had been undergoing a change and Democratics were not re-elected only the republicans were choosen. 2. Dred Scott mainly wanted to become free from being a slave, which took him to federal court where the ruling became against him. 3. The specific event that led up to this event was when Dred Scott went to federal court to become free. 4. The ruling was that any African Americans in the united states are not concidered citizens, so they can not use the federal court. Second, also Dred Scott was not concidered to be free because he returned to the slave state of Missouri, so he was under Missouri's laws. Third, the line of 3630 is set to be uncostitutional. 5. The next Dred Scott Decision was in tact wehere Abraham Lincoln ruled that he would prohibit statle from banning slavery. 6. The impact this decision had was that the slave issues were still in America even after all of the events trying to stop it.

Stephen Douglass was one of the idividuals which wanted to build a railroad to the pacific. He wanted this railroad to be a Northern route, but the diagreement was that some people wated a Southern route. 3. Both the Missouri Compromise and the Louisana Purchase were the specific events that led up to this issue. 4. Kansas and Nebraska were divided and popular soveriegnty decided if the states decided if they shoud be a free or a slave state. 5. The issues that happened because of this act was that it also eliminated the 3630 line restricted in 1854. 6.The impact the Act had on the north, and south, and the states as a whole was that slavery seemed like it was always going to be a issue.
1. The main issue at the time in the United Staes was that California wanted to become a art of the United states. 2. Henry Clay created a proposal of a compromise to solve the problem of California. The compromise had five parts. One, admit California as long as its a free state. Two, New Mexico is a federal territory which to determine slaves [popular sovereignty would rule. Three, dispute about the border issue with Texas and New Mexico. Four, call an end to the slave trade nationally. Five find a new more effective way to fugitive slave law. 3. The specific event tht led up the the compromise of 1850 was the Missouri Compromise. 4. The compromise of 1850 said that the Mexican cession was divided into two parts Utah and New Mexico, which to decide slavery popular soveriegnty was used, and the slave trade was abolished. 5. Before the Compromise of 1850, the fugitive slave act in 1793 became in law because of part of the compromise Henry Clay proposed. 6. The impact was that there was no more slave trade and that there was and equal votes for slave states and free states on the new lands.

The main issues or problems that were happening during 1820 were mainly that the North and South had disagreements about slavery, but then solved them when there became an even number of slave states and free states. 2. There were three main men that helped with the compromise. Rufus King, the senator of New York wanted there to be no further expansion of slavery in the states. Nathaniel Macon, wanted the opposite of King, so he wanted to keep admitting slaves. Henry Clay, was the man who proposed the Missouri compromise. 3. What led to the Missouri Compromise was that there was an even number of both slave and free states, so when Missouri applied to enter the states as a slave state the slave states, and free states number would be turned unbalanced. This inccident led to the Missouri compromise. 4. The compromise that was decided is that Missouri could enter as a slave state if Maine entered as a free state to keep the balance. Also, Slavery was not prohibited in any new lands above the latitude and longitude of 36'30 which was Missouri's southern border. 5. There was going to still be an even number of slave and free states. 6. The impact of the North, South, and for the United States was mainly for the south because that slave trade was not going to be allowed and more and had to be freed at the age of twenty-five.
