President Roosevelt signs Executive Order 9066 which allows military authorities to move anyone from place to place without a hearing.
The Japansese bomb Pearl Harbor. Local Authorities start to round up Japenese American Communities.
John Dingell sends President Roosevelt a letter suggesting imprisoning 10,000 Japanese Americans to ensure "good behavior".
