In late August, the first school bell rings and excitement fills the air. As the year continues, students become comfortable. As spring emerges, excitement fills the air again in anticipation of summer vacation.

It's your last day as a first grader! We have been getting ready for second grade all year. You will do great!
After writing animal reports we take a trip to the zoo.
Everyone needs a vacation by this point in the year!
Each child brings in enough of a green food for every student to try.
The school is full of hearts, love, and of course, valentines!
Santa Claus and his Elves get ready for Christmas by preparing gifts for loved ones at home, and bonding with classmates at school. The day ends with a "winter celebration".
Get ready, the Pilgrims and Indians are having a feast with all the original foods and costumes! Fun, fun, fun!
The students come to school dressed in disguise. It is a fun day that ends with a parade and party!
A new batch of students arrive. Everyone (teachers included) are filled with excitement and anticipation!
Quite possibly one of the most exciting days of elementary school. Don't forget your sunscreen!
