The Huskies became the first team in the history of NCAA Division I basketball (men or women) to go undefeated and win each of its games by a margin of at least 10 points.

The Huskies qualify for their ninth trip to the NCAA Final Four after sweeping the Big East regular-season and tournament titles for the 12th time overall. The Huskies beat Old Dominion 78-63 in the Elite Eight, but then fell to Stanford in the Final Four.
