Eddig elérhetetlen volt, de most, ha nem is közelről, de közelhozó fényképekről megláttam. Ő a Triglav. Távrokonom megmászta, lefotózta és megjelentette. Én, már egy kicsit régebben, a bledi tó partjáról és a szállodai szobámból nézegettem a nyáron is havas elérhetetlent, szép volt úgyis. Knézy Jenővel közvetítettük az evezős világbajnokságot, ő tévének, én MTI-nek és megbeszéltük a Martini sajtóközpontból arramerengve, hogy 1x felmegyünk. El is képzeltük, hogy macerás lesz, de sportembereken nem fog ki. Persze nem lett belőle semmi, és nem Jenő váratlan távozása miatt, hanem a feladat irrealitása miatt. A Triglav igen-igen autdóros társaságnak való.
Szolgálati közlemény: megkérem Molnár Anikót, hogy legközelebb fényképezze le a bledi tavat onnan a magasból, mert a vica-versa szerint látni lehet onnan is. És Jenőnek is tetszene.

I have an older Ryobi drill that fits my hand well, so when the old batteries gave up, I decided to try to find replacements. I've been using the new batteries for about nine months now. Initially, I didn't think much of the claim that these batteries are upgrades from the originals, but they definitely are! Each charge lasts twice as long as the originals. I'm not a professional, but I do a lot of DIY projects. As an example, I used the drill last summer to install about 150 SF of Trex-style decking with 3 inch screws. Between the two batteries, I could work all afternoon without recharging and had no problem drilling and sinking the screws all the way. Not bad for a 14.4 volt drill!

In response to the Presidential Auto Task Force Report that concluded that the plug-in Chevrolet Volt was unlikely to be commercially successful in the short-term due to its cost (earlier post), Plug In America is proposing a plan to make GM’s Chevy Volt and other plug-in cars more affordable. Plug In America also noted that most advanced new technologies are initially more costly.

You may have heard or seen pictures about GM’s new electric car, the Chevy Volt. It is due to be released in 2010 and is intended to be a “game changing” hybrid vehicle. Unlike most other vehicles the Volt can drive up to 40 miles before the gas engine needs to turn on to generate more electricity. The Volt can also be plugged in so it can be charged as if it were a stand alone electric vehicle. It sounds like a great car but in actuality, it will be another failure.
