COMPLETE AERIAL CAMERA
Includes overhead replay. A 50:1 long-shot "Mine that Bird" comes from last place to win the Kentucky Derby in one of the greatest, most amazing races ever run. At the end of the race he takes the inside rail and starts passing horses like they are standing still. He does this so quickly, the guy calling the race doesn't even mention the name until he is already in first place and wins. This video replay of the race also shows an aerial overhead view of "Mine that Bird"'s amazing run.

Amazing Overhead replay of Mine That Bird's move from next to last position to winning the 2009 Kentucky Derby by 6 3/4 lengths.
This is a video of the 2009 Kentucky Derby held at Churchill Downs (Louisville, ky.) The winner of the 135th "run for the roses" was a 50-1 odd (if you dont know how bad that is well...... its like our government.....pretty bad odds). Most horses were flown in on nice jets.....He was brought to Churchill Downs in a horse trailer, by his owner, from Texas. Some horses were worth $3 million..... he was $9500. An inspiring story.... a memory for a life time!
View the Derby from a rare perspective. Notice the slow horse in last place as they go right by us :) Be sure to watch the ending as Borel comes back around to be interviewed. Troy Louisville, KY
2009 Kentucky Derby...Mine That Bird...WINS
This 50-1 longshot came on to beat champions like Freisan Fire, Pioneer of the Nile, Papa Clem, Desert Party, and Dunkirk, by 7 lengths! Will he be able to win the Preakness? Or even MORE THAN THAT?
This is the 135th run of the Kentucky Derby in Lexington, Kentucky. Mine That Bird with the odds of 50-1 went from last place to first place with jockey Calvin Borel leading him to the front. Mine That Bird is from New Mexico where his trainer drove 21 hours with a shattered ankle to come and have his colt race. Mine That Bird was bought for $9500, he's a gelding, and came to the race in a pickup truck and trailer and he raced against horses worth millions! Good for him! Congratulations to Mine That Bird, jockey Calvin Borel, trainer Bennie Woolley Jr., and co-owners Mark Allen and Leonard Blach! Credit to NBC and kentuckyderby.

A replay of the 2009 Kentucky Derby
50-1 Mine That Bird beats out favorite Pioneer of the Nile to win the 135th Kentucky Derby. Calvin Borel's second win in the last three Derbs.
2nd biggest upset in the history of the Kentucky Derby. Amazing Finish! 135th Kentucky Derby!
Jockey Calvin Borel won the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) May 1 on heavy favorite Rachel Alexandra, and the following day in the Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), he scored a huge upset on Mine That Bird. "I did a Street Sense ride," Borel said, referring to his winning ride aboard Street Sense in the 2007 Derby. Borel is known for bringing horses up the rail and is affectionately called "Calvin Bo-Rail." In the 19-horse field, only one horse was longer odds than the 50-1 price on Mine That Bird. That was the 55-1 odds on Atomic Rain. Borel was even more demonstrative than when he won on Street Sense. He was crying, screaming, and pumping his fist in the air as he brought the son of Birdstone back to the winners circle. After he squirted through on the rail in the stretch, Mine That Bird drew off under Borel to win by 6 ¾ lengths. Pioneerof the Nile was second, Musket Man, and Papa Clem finished fourth. The final time was 2:02.66. Mine That Bird paid $103.20, $54, and $25.80. Pioneerof the Nile returned $8.40 and $6.40, and Musket Man paid $12 to show. Pioneerof the Nile beat Musket Man by a nose, while Musket Man was a head in front of Papa Clem.
Mine that Bird wins the 2009 Kentucky Derby Finish resulting in the second biggest upset in the Kentucky Derby history.
In a performance reminiscent of his winning ride aboard Street Sense two years earlier, Calvin Borel hugged the rail throughout then exploded through the stretch to guide Mine That Bird to an improbable 6 3/4-length victory over Pioneerof the Nile in the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. The victory capped off a memorable weekend for Borel, who also rode Rachel Alexandra to a one-sided triumph in Friday's Kentucky Oaks. (Source DRF)

OMG AMAZING Longshot Mine That Bird, the 50-1 worst horse, comes and beats the others amazingly. Pioneer of the Nile 2nd, Papa Clem 3rd, favorite Freisan Fire 18th. This is an amazing performance, and Calvin Borrel, the jockey just won the greatest KY Oaks ever, the day before. This is one amazing jockey, and, with the trainer on crutches, the roses are placed on Mine That Bird's back. He deserves them.
