7 Seconds is a hardcore punk band from Reno, Nevada. Formed in 1980 by brothers Kevin Seconds and Steve Youth, their first show was played on March 2, 1980. They are considered to be pioneers of the Straight Edge movement that originated in Washington, DC in the 1980s. They continue to write, record, and tour to this day. Their most recent album is Take It Back, Take It On, Take It Over!.
