Andrea Joy Cook (born July 22, 1978) is a Canadian actress more commonly known as A. J. Cook who has appeared in several Hollywood films and television shows.
Cook was born in Oshawa, Ontario and spent most of her life growing up in Whitby. Her father, Mike, is a teacher and her mother, Sandra, works for a psychiatrist. She has three siblings named Nathan, Paul and Angela. Cook is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a devout Mormon, she accepts only roles that don't go against her faith. At four years old, Cook began taking jazz, tap and ballet lessons. She danced competitively for many years before deciding at the age of 17 that she wanted to try acting. Cook decided she wanted to become an actress after being inspired by the film, Dirty Dancing.

A group of friends embarks on a road trip to Las Vegas, NV in a recently restored RV. The driver, Matt, is getting the group lost while attempting to take a shortcut. His girlfriend complains that they've been engaged too long and wants to get married; he frustrates her by responding that there's no rush. Final Destination 2 is a 2003 horror film, and sequel to the 2000 film Final Destination. It was directed by David R. Ellis and stars A. J. Cook as Kimberly Corman and Ali Larter as Clear Rivers. The film is set in 2001 after the previous movie and has only two returning characters; Clear Rivers and the mortician William Bludworth. The movie grossed $16,017,141 on its opening weekend in the US, a significant portion of the $46,455,802 it grossed overall.
