Our first project as part of our course at the NZ Film Academy. Our first task was to use an existing piece of music (in this case Gary Jules' Mad World) and to create a music video for it with a week of planning, three days shooting and no budget (Though I did splurge $2 of my own money for the homeless mans hat) It didn't work out quite as we'd hoped but was still fun to shoot none the less. We weren't allowed artificial lighting for the first project so we had to rely on natural light. Luckily for us the weather was awesome for the whole shoot, as you can see. Overall it was a great learning experience and I know each of us learnt heaps from doing it! A music video by Tom Woodruff, Chris Fraser, Makhlouf (Mark) Benyettou and Abraham Adebisi. Such an idea of singling Israel out and treating it not on merit but as evil by nature is very likely to fall foul of the European Union's legal definition of antisemitism.
