So I think I may have started a Friday night tradition last week! Here is a cover of one of my favourite songs of the last year, thanks to Adele's beautiful cover of it. MAJOR SPOILERS FOR EPITAPH ONE! Watch in HQ/Read So Epitaph One was amazing, and the scene with Adelle and Topher really got to me, and so I had to make a vid for them. This is a study of the guilt that the two of them face over their actions; their hand in hurting people through the Dollhouse and eventually destroying the world. 'The Living' represents different things throughout the song, from the Actives, to the people who 'answered the phone', to the people who didn't, and finally the memories that Adelle and Topher have of times before the 'tech'. I tried to include as many people as I could, as opposed to just Topher and Adelle, because I think it's impossible to study their guilt without looking at who it affected. I also really tried to draw focus to their relationships with Claire and Dominic, respectively, because I think they both have a lot of regret in those relationships; Topher because of what he did to Whiskey, and Adelle because she trusted Dominic. The colouring from 00:40-01:00 is meant to signify better, happier times, which is why it's still in colour. That section to me really shows how much they have changed in the future; once it was Mellie and the other Actives in the pods, now it's Topher and Adelle, the two of them once had to support Mellie and carry her when she glitched, and now the only people they have to hold onto are eachother. &fmt=18 for High Quality. SPOILERS! Watch at your own risk! First of several "Gifted" side quests to get Adelle's Heritor abilities. Must visit Lezaford after the quest "Through Another's Eyes", then you can find Lennart in the Zedlei Forest. You'll have to fight Lennart alone with Adelle, although he's only level 22, so it should be cake if you've been leveling Adelle. If not, it should be more challenging, but hardly impossible. You only have to reduce Lennart to critical HP in order to win. Forbidden: Targetting Distant Units; but if you win with the action that breaks the law, you won't get penalized. After winning you unlock the Heritor job for Adelle, and automatically get the Lennart skill. Heritor has a wide variety of abilities that can be obtained, and an awesome selection of equipment to be used, so it's a nice choice for Adelle if you don't know what else to make her.
