Hi all! In this Adventure Quest video, I (Ubear) beat the only true unbeatable in the game, Carnax! The whole fight at normal speed, took 57 minutes and 5 seconds. Which is a fair bit less than what it took me to beat WolfWing and Nightbane! :) I used the PetaSnide Glitch to get the STR and END, without it he would of obviously one hit killed me :P To see more fights using this glitch, take a look at this video: www.youtube.com Why is he so strong? **Carnax has over 130 blocking in Meelee, Magic and Ranged when factoring in his stats. **He is VERY strong. **Has over 300000 HP. Well, if you want to find how strong he is for yourself (with or without the glitch) then just click the rip in the sky. Once you're there, then click the first door on the left, and then click the brown thing just above the water. Then once your in that new place, click the scroll that is to the right of the books on the table. you'll see a swirly thing, just click continue. Then finally, click "Fight Carnax One on One!" Well this challenge i can assure you is as tough as nightbane level 500/wolfwing/the galin or xyphos,any day of the week. EDIT.Some people seem confused here,so i will try to explain as best i can.First of all i killed him in nerfage plate which obviously means you can forget about blocking any of his attacks.Secondly,he is extremely tough this way because of that fear ability of his.Not only does he smack you for about 200-600 damage with it when you wear nerfage plate,you also have a very slim chance of resisting it.In the video you see me resisting it 2 times in nerfage plate.I would like to clarify that it was utter luck...Thats the only 2 times in i don't know how many times that i resisted it with nerfage plate equipped,in all honesty i lost count how many times he killed me by repeatedly skipping my turns.Once he inflicts you with fear its obviously stuck on you for 4 turns and he can skip your turns at 45% RATE CHANCE.And also never forget the fact that he can refresh this process,for example lets say fear has 1 or 2 turns left...Then he can do it again and its back to 4 turns.So those of you cocky enough to tell me this is easy,i dare you to go try it with this exact setup i used and tell me if it was easy when you come back okay?I might seem rude here but people don't understand just how hard he is if you use my setup. One of my hits actually did 1000+ damage on the Galin while I was testing it out. The weapon's pretty good as well, with high damage and BTH. I think the shield's defenses aren't that good, but its healing ability (which I didn't know about until AFTER I uploaded the video) makes up for it. By the way, one thing that I forgot to show in the video is that when you have at least 360 SP and you click on the shield, you heal by this much: Hits: 2 Damage: 57.8 to 157.675 HP, 86.7 to 236.5125 MP Stats: 533.8%, 800.7% (Stats equal to END/8, INT/8, respectively) *EDIT* WOOT! 500+ views in 18 hours! *EDIT 2* WOOT! 1000+ Views! *EDIT 3* WOOT! 2000+ Views! *EDIT 4* it's 7:38 right now and its 2/1/2010. If you block an attack from your enemy in that turn you perform a counter strike directly after their attack that damages them with the element of your equipped weapon. I'm tired of multiple people saying you do because you have to be a level 10 fighter and scholar. Adventurers can train both fighter and scholar all the way up to level 10. If you don't believe me then just try it. The DragonSlayer class has recently been completely remade, it looks a lot cooler and it more effective against dragons if you know how to use it. But Call Forth the Fire Dragon now only happens a little bit, I've only gotten twice and I didn't manage to record it. Here's the answers to some frequently asked questions. Q: How do I become a dragonslayer? A: go to dragonstone on the travel map. Q: why won't it let me train? A: You must be a level 10 fighter and level 10 scholar to train DS. To train in fighter talk to blackhawke in the upstairs room in the inn. Ask for fighter training. to train as a scholar sail east twice on the travel map, then go to scholar class training. It is possible for adventurers to train both these classes to level 10. Q: Where can I find acidrake? A: Random adventure or any quest that has element fire based monsters. I made this video to show that the Guardian Plate is actually a lot better than most people think. While not all mosnters can be beaten with it a lot of tough monsters can be beat. Of course, this video wasn't meant to be taken 100% seriously, as you can probably tell from the very last fight at the very end. Obviously the Guardian Plate is a no-drop and as such there are tons of armors that are better than it. But it is still pretty good. Just a note, it is a lot easier with uber armors but I'm just showing that they aren't needed. Obviously if I had used ubers it would have been a lot easier. I mainly made this video because it is a bigger feat to kill these guys in the Guardian Plate than it is in an uber. Also I've seen a of people complain about the Guardian Plate being weak. Here;s my character page: aq.battleon.com If there is a certain monster you want me to take out in the Guardian Plate, tell me and I'll see if I can beat him. I take down Nightbane level 140, UAD, and the Elder Void Wyrm in the Guardian Plate.
Here is my guide to all level 100+ players to defeat xyphos if your a mage with maxed out endurance and intellect your chances of winning is almost 100%Wait until he is fully nerfed then switch to keesish-kin.If he he isnt fully nerfed yet just keep on using heal xtreme wounds and heal mortal wounds.Make sure before you go there you have max mana and hp potions.You can also charge Lay on hands in paladin class armour and wait till xyphos is very low on health.Say less then 100 health then ...
