Lufthansa A380 at the DUS Intl. Airport. I flew there with a C172, had two pilots with me, one was filming it, this is the video footage. An Airbus A380 from Qantas departing Sydney International Airport. Taxi and Takeoff. Another Qantas A380 burst a few tyres whilst landing, this however was a safe taxi and takeoff. The camera was shaky during the start as I was trying to take pictures with another camera. But after some editing, its a tad better, but the quality suffered a bit. Recorded by Abhishek Malik. Icelandic TV station video (language is Icelandic) during Airbus A380 crosswind landing certification tests in Keflavik with 40 to 50 knot crosswinds. Technique is to fly crabbed down to flare height then "kick" (gently) the rudder to align the nose. Some crab at touchdown is acceptable and will be cancelled as the main gear also align the bird with the runway. Sounds easy dosn't it? Notice the flight control laws only allow the lower rudder until the aircraft is on the ground, then both upper and lower rudders are controlled by the autopilot during AutoLand operations or by the rudder pedals. This logic helps prevent unwanted roll from the upper rudder due to its placement being so far away from the longitudinal axis of the aircraft.

This is the great and beautifull Airbus A380, the biggest aircraft in the world. The plane visit Santiago for the International Air and Space Show (Fidae 2008). The A380 landing in Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez Airport (AMB) (SCL) in march 29th. Later in march 30th, the plane flew over Santiago for 20 minutes. This A380 was the first one in being constructed, it's the oldest and proved of the fleet and does not have passengers' seats. It's powered by 4 Engine Alliance turbines. The largest plane in the world.
Airbus A380 F-WWJB with callsign 'Lufthansa 8948 Super' arrives at Dulles Airport for the first time. The pilot nails the landing perfectly. This was a nighttime arrival so everything is dark or cast with the orange ramp lighting. I have to say this plane is much more attractive in person that it is in pictures. All Photos By SydneyCSI The aircraft on this photograph is very rare because it is the only time that QANTAS and AIRBUS both shared the same airplane with their advertising decals. The paint on this aircraft was erased after a few months to accomodate a buyer that was in line at the time. There is almost no chance of this happening again. These pictures are now valuable as an archive for historical significance.
