Janet Napolitano, Dept of Homeland Security, Walmart and the Government Wants You to Look Out For the Terrorists In the video, Janet Napolitano explains that concerned shoppers should report terror suspects to a Walmart manager. And just in case you're wondering, this is real. Here's what the Department of Homeland Security posted to their website: They are calling it the "If You See Something, Say Something" campaign—originally implemented by New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority and funded, in part, by $13 million from DHS' Transit Security Grant Program—is a simple and effective program to engage the public and key frontline employees to identify and report indicators of terrorism, crime and other threats to the proper transportation and law enforcement authorities." -------- Homeland Security Teams with Walmart in Expansion of 'See Something, Say Something' Campaign Yesterday in a conference call with reporters, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano announced the expansion of the recent campaign, "If You See Something, Say Something" to hundreds of Walmart stores across the country. The campaign, which was first started in New York City, is designed to elevate awareness among the public to report possible suspicious activity to law enforcement. Collier Swecker video blogs about how the concrete overpasses and concrete road barriers throughout the Greater Birmingham area are absolutely filthy and are in need of a good pressure wash! I know that this seems like an off-the-wall topic but I really do think that our roadways are dirty and these concrete structures that are all over our local highways have road grime completely covering them. I have given up on our local officials and the Alabama Department of Transportation to fix the thousands of potholes on I-65, I-459 and I-20, so I thought the least they could do was clean the areas around the road that will clean up nicely. Our roadways are often provide the first impression for people visiting our area and if they limit their opinion to our roadways they will never return! Next time you visit Charlotte, Nashville and even Atlanta, take a look at the their concrete overpasses and you will see what I am talking about. If you have any comments or questions about how a little pressure washing of the concrete overpasses and barriers on Birmingham Interstates and roadways, email me at Collier@MegaAgentRealEstate.com or visit my website at www.MegaAgentRealEstate.com.

RPCGB Executive Director Charles Ball provides some background on the project and the partnership between his organization and the Georgia Department of Transportation after which Mayor Bell offers extended remarks.
This gives y'all an updated look at the road construction on I-85 in Coweta and Meriwether counties (GA). I contacted the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), to see when this never-ending roadworks is to be completed; GDOT said this summer (Summer 2010), weather permitting. This construction has been going on since, at least, 2007. There will be at the very least six continuous lanes from the Coweta-Meriwether county line up and through Atlanta.

This is what happens when you use the County sewer system to create OTC Derivatives. If you want to know what life in the Third World is like, just ask Lisa Pack, an administrative assistant who works in the roads and transportation department in Jefferson County, Alabama. Pack got rudely introduced to life in post-crisis America last August, when word came down that she and 1000 of her fellow public employees would have to take a little unpaid vacation for a while. The county, it turned out, was more than $5 billion in debt — meaning that courthouses, jails and sheriff's precincts had to be closed so that Wall Street banks could be paid.
