Alice Jane Evans (born August 2, 1971) is an actress. She is most widely recognised as the long-time fiancee of Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, and sometimes for her unusual fashion choices.
Evans, the daughter of educators, was born in the Summit, New Jersey, USA and grew up in Bristol, England. She graduated from University College London after receiving a 2.1 in French and Italian.
Evans had an eight-year relationship with Olivier Picasso, the grandson of painter Pablo Picasso. Evans has stated in one interview that she would have married Picasso if he had asked, but he never did. However, in another interview she states that they were engaged. Evans later became engaged to Ioan Gruffudd in the early hours of New Year's Day 2006 after giving him an ultimatum. They met during the production of 102 Dalmatians although they did not reveal themselves to be a couple until Alice decided to tell all shortly before the premiere of Black Hawk Down to a tabloid for publicity.
