More than 50.000 elated people sang and danced yesterday with André, before the Ajax-Olympic Marseille game, to the tones of The Second Waltz and The choir of the Hebrew Slaves. It was an overwhelming success! Just as 15 years ago, at the game against Bayern München. Ajax, the Amsterdam footballclub, celebrated its 109th birthday yesterday. So even more reason to party. The energy and the enthusiasm of these 50.000 people, all waving little flags was really fantastic. Right from the first tonesgoose bumps for everyone. I am glad to be coming back to the Amsterdam ArenA on September 5th, with the Schönbrunn Castle, said André Rieu.

LYRICS: Farewell to old England forever, Farewell to my rum culls as well, Farewell to the well-known Old Bailey Where I once used to look such a swell. Chorus: Singing too-ral, li-ooral, li-addity, Singing too-ral, li-ooral, li-ay, Singing too-ral, li-ooral, li-addity, Oh we're bound for Botany Bay. There's the captain as is our commander, There's the bosun (''boatswain'' )and all the ship's crew, There's the first- and the second-class passengers, Knows what we poor convicts go through. Oh had I the wings of a turtle-dove, I'd soar on my pinions so high, Slap bang to the arms of my Polly love, And in her sweet presence I'd die. Copyright Infringement NOT intended. DVD - Andre Rieu in Wonderland 2008 LYRICS: English Translation The winter may pass and the spring disappear, the spring disappear; The summer too will vanish and then the year, and then the year. But this I know for certain: you'll come back again, you'll come back again. And even as I promised you'll find me waiting then, you'll find me waiting then. Oh-oh-oh .... God help you when wand'ring your way all alone, your way all alone. God grant to you his strength as you'll kneel at his throne, as you'll kneel at his throne. Andre Rieu - Auld lang syne 2006 "Auld Lang Syne" (old long since) is a is a Scottish poem written by Robert Burns (1759-1796) in 1788, although a similar poem by Robert Ayton (1570-1638), as well as older folk songs, use the same phrase, and may well have inspired Burns. In any case, it is one of the better-known songs in English-speaking countries, and it is often sung at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Day. Like many other frequently sung songs, the melody is better remembered than the words, which are often sung incorrectly, and seldom in full. "Auld Lang Syne" is usually sung each year at midnight on New Year's Day (Hogmanay in Scotland) in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Hong Kong, Anglo areas of India, and Canada, and signifies the start of a new year. In the United Kingdom, it is played at the close of the annual Congress (conference) of the Trades Union Congress.

Andre Rieu - Ten Minutes Ago I Saw You 2007 (from the musical 'Cinderella' by Richard Rodgers) Ten minutes ago, I saw you I looked up when you came through the door My head started reeling you gave me the feeling the room had no ceiling or floor. Ten minutes ago, I met you, and we murmured our how do you dos I wanted to ring out the bells and fling out my arms and sing out the news. I have found her, she's an angel, with the dust of the stars in her eyes. We are dancing, we are flying, and she's taking me back to the skies! In the arms of my love, I'm flying, over mountain and meadow and glen. And I like it so well that for all I can tell I may never come down again. I may never come down to earth again. (Andre dances a waltz with a young woman of the audiance) Ten minutes ago, I saw you. I looked up when you came through the door. And I like it so well for all I can tell I may never come down again. I may never come down to earth again.
