The Maya, an ancient South American culture, predicted that time would end in a violent apocalypse on December 21, 2012. They created an elaborate astronomical calendar called "The Long Count," which stops abruptly in 2012. This date, which is also the winter equinox, coincides with an incredibly rare galactic alignment that happens once every 26000 years. What did the Mayans think would happen when their calendar ended? And were they joined by other cultures--from different parts of the world and in different centuries--all pointing to 2012 as a calamitous end time? The Hopi Indians and Eastern Hindus have similar calendars, which are remarkably synchronous. One counter-culture mystic even uses an Ancient Chinese philosophy to unlock the key to a 2012 prophecy. Nostradamus himself suggests the world is headed toward a coming cataclysm. What can we do to head the warning of the Mayan apocalypse?
Due to a variety of environmental or man-made factors, the north and south poles of Earth are not entirely static. There are many theories as to why this is, and what this means. The occurrence of a pole shift, where the poles would move dramatically, could cause the Earth's crust to move over the mantle and core—like an orange skin floating around above the pulpy fruit. This could result in major tsunamis, dramatic earthquakes and volcanoes, and intense climate change as the continents are pushed halfway across the globe from their current locations. A pole shift of this magnitude was predicted by psychic Edgar Cayce in 1934, who said it would start happening in the early 21st century.
The Mayan "long count" astronomical calendar has an expiration date of December 21, 2012. Is this when the Maya believed the world would meet its cataclysmic end? Is it mere coincidence that other cultures also point to this date as the beginning of the end?
These are the new death whistles I have available. A couple comments I forgot to mention on the video: I will have some large deep toned double flutes available soon; when playing the last one that is glazed, it seemed as if for a moment there was a second death whistle playing in my ear. I sold all of my remain instruments within 3 hours at the Stanford Pow wow this weekend where I played music. At one point, I was demonstrating two death whistles , and after the last one, I felt like I was taking alot of effort to remain composure due to the feeling I describe as vertigo. It was strange. It hasn't been since I've been modeling these replicas according to x rays of ancient instruments, that I have been experiening this more.
By Hilario Villa. This superb documentary opens with some music filled with sorry and reflection. Nice visuals present the ancient Aztec Empire, from beginnings perhaps in Wisconsin the their downfall chronicled here. Villa takes us on a journey with excellent maps and images of Aztalan, Wisconsin as the Crane and Moon people merge to form the Mishika and the origins of Aztec Mexico, whence the name of this nation. As they make their way perhaps along the Mississippi, they form the largest group in the Mexico Valley. Being forced out of Tizoapan, they entered the Valley of Mexico to build what would be the capitol, Tenochtitlan, modern Mexico City. Very nice images of Aztec rulers, architecture etc., but punctuated with blank spots. Sacrifices of various sorts are discussed, along with piercing oneself. What a disturbing clip of a sacrifice in Apocalypto. The return of Quetzalcoatl is discussed as the Spanish are mistaken for the return of the God. The perspective of the Aztecs of these new people is offered. Moctezumas trust was betrayed as his hospitality is returned with conquest. Smallpox wiped them out, and they could not beat cannons and steel. Cuahtemoc was hung by the Spanish on a Ciba tree to die for treason! Fantastic and thoughtful exploration of a lost civilization. Super narration, music and visuals GRADE A work

mayanscalendar.blogspot.com globalldb.com 2012 Calendar Prophecies of Ancient Aztec Egypt Atlantis Advanced Lost Civilizations- -mayanscalendar.blogspot.com - An astronomical hidden code exits within the placing of Egypt pyramids and temples. When decoded, this information pinpoints the location of the labyrinth that is believed to contain artefacts and documents from a civilisation that flourished on a global scale thousand of years ago. In the year 2012, the earth awaits a super catastrophe: its magnetic field will turn over in one go. Phenomenal earthquakes and tidal waves will completely destroy our civilization. Europe and North America will shift thousands of miles northwards and will get a polar climate. Nearly the whole earth's population will perish in the apocalyptical happenings. These predictions stem from the Mayans and Egyptians. They are descendants of the legendary Atlantis, which is buried under the South Pole. The Atlanteans had a highly evolved astronomical knowledge and were able to exactly predict the previous catastrophe in 9792 BC. The Legend of Atlantis comes from the writings of the Greek philosopher Plato in his dialogues Timaeus and Critias around 360BC. In these writings, Plato relates the story of Solon, a Greek philosopher and statesman from about 150 years earlier, who journeyed to Egypt, and there he apparently received the story of an ancient conflict that the Athenians had with an ancient forgotten race from a forgotten island some 9000 ...
