Shortly after I had landed at the Bentonville Airport, ( www.youtube.com ) I noticed an instructor getting out of a Cessna 172. The person who I assumed to be a student pilot remained inside. I asked if this was a "first solo." It was. So since I was waiting for my passengers with not too much to do for a while, and since I had my video camera with me, I proceeded to video Michael Hoxmeier's first solo. This included three landings, two of his takeoffs ( I missed the first.) and the shirt tail cutting after it was over. After congratulations all around, I asked Michael if he would like for me to put the video together for him. With his permission I have posted it here.
