FACTS ABOUT THE MOVIE:: -It's filmed in black and white to represent how the world of the "prisoner" is viewed; since the prisoner (Anonumos, played by Sandy Watters) only knows one reality, her world is in black and white until she is introduced to philosophy -When Kathigitra (played by Joon Johnson) whispers through the wall, she is whispering the fibonacci sequence backwards, starting with 17711 and ending with 1 -The word "Aptera" means wingless in Greek (which has to do with the ending ^_^) -The word "Anonumos" means nameless in Greek, "Kathigitra" means teacher, and "Acephalous" means headless -When Anonumos is first introduced to the door behind her, Kathigitra whispers "eleutheria," meaning freedom in Greek, and she whispers it again when Anonumos falls down after looking into the sun -When Anonumos is about to follow Acephalous back into the cave, Kathigitra whispers "thanatos," meaning death in Greek ALSO!!! MPGomatic.com gets a ride in a production-intent Aptera 2e two-passenger electric vehicle. This is the very same Aptera 2e that took part in the Automotive X-Prize competition. The three-wheeled Aptera 2e is remarkably aerodynamic and lightweight. (Production weight is expected to be in the 1800 lb. range.) It uses A123 batteries and a Remy electric motor. This is the coolest car I have ever seen. If Apple were to make a car, this would be it! I can't wait to get one of these. This model is the 2e, for 2 passenger all electric. A hybrid model will also be available later. 4000+ people have already made a deposit of $500 to buy this car but will only be available in CA for now. Aptera 2e completes the lane change maneuver on the 7th pass at 47.6 mph. Average trap speed for all attempts was 47.42 mph w/3 runs with no cones touched. For some reason, there seemed to be a little more pressure around our run than most. Go figure...LOL!
