Sohail Khan, superstar Salman Khan's youngest brother, and builder Ashish Raheja nearly came to blows at Olive bar in Khar, a famed hangout for Bollywooders, models and socialites, on Thursday night last week. Sohail Khan was seated at his table with his sisters-in-law, Amrita and Mallaika, while a table adjacent to his was occupied by his sister Arpita. A few minutes later, Ashish Raheja came in and settled at a table next to Arpita's. His entourage allegedly grew bigger and louder as the night proceeded, and, at one point, Ashish allegedly even dropped his drink on Arpita by mistake. Says an eyewitness, "Ashish dropped his drink on Arpita's dress. When Arpita questioned him about his behaviour, Ashish caught hold of her face and told her that he can buy her family out. An altercation thus followed between Sohail, who stepped in, and Ashish. There was a big commotion at Olive, following which Ashish was asked to leave the premises." When contacted, Sohail Khan confirmed the story. When we asked Sohail if he beat up Ashish, he replied, "No, I did not. Dhakka-dhukki hui bas." However, on pressing further, he gave us some details on how the flash point was reached. "At first I let it pass. However, when Arpita got very uncomfortable with Ashish's entourage dancing around her table, I was forced to step in, especially when he retorted with the comment that he could buy out Arpita's table." Ashish Raheja refused to take our calls. His PR agency told us that he is not traceable.

On the eve of Raksha Bandhan, Salman Khan and his family got together at Galaxy apartments in Bandra for the usual ritual of tying the rakhi. Every year they have a small puja in the morning. Sister Alvira and Arpita dressed traditionally tie rakhi to all three brothers Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan. Post that Salman visits Alvira's residence in the evening for a family dinner. Ask Alvira what gift she got from brother Salman on the occasion and she says, "What gift can I expect from my brother. His protectiveness and his love are the best gifts. All small materialistic gifts come and go which we get anyways. My biggest gift is my brother being there for me all the time". In whichever part of the world Salman shoots, he always makes it a point to be at home during Raksha Bandhan. The festival means a lot to the actor who chooses to spend time with his family. Also Salman Khan chooses to be at home at other important festivals like Eid, Diwali and Christmas. "All festivals are important to me", says Salman. "I try and make it a point to be at home during all the festivals. Raksha Bandhan is special to me and I am there for my sisters always".

He, along with the team of his much-awaited flick, headed to the suburban locales of Santacruz where a camp was in progress. Upon reaching the site, however, they were told that the camp had ended. Not one to be deterred, the actor was told of another one being conducted in his own neighbourhood, Bandra at Almeida Park. And when Salman calls, people definitely respond. Salman's old friend and politico Baba Siddiqui made his contribution as did Dino Morea. The Patel siblings, Ameesha and Ashmit too attended the camp. We caught Sonam Kapoor enjoying the show screening with the cast members of her latest film, including Lisa Haydon, Amrita Puri, Ira Dubey, Cyrus Sahukar and Arunoday Singh. Likewise, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, who too are part of a film, were spotted at Arpita's screening. The vampires had been let loose again and Mumbaikars couldn't seem to get enough of them as they flocked to a screening of the latest Hollywood movie in the suburbs. And the vampires and werewolves seemed to be telly world's favourite character as a number of them were spotted having a fill of the same. Narayani Shastri, Shruti Ulfat, Mandira Bedi and Kavita Kaushik (wearing a warm shawl over her strapless dress to keep herself warm) made the most of the rainy evening by catching the show. Others seen taking in the enjoyable evening were Pooja Bedi, Parveen Dusanj, Aditya Singh Rajput, Ashvin Mushran, Ninad Kamat, Bunty Walia, Chitrashi Rawat and Bhagyashree. Meanwhile, Arpita Khan hosted another screening of the same film at another venue, where we spotted Niketan Madhok and Atul Agnihotri.
