The War File. The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German World War II fighter aircraft designed by Willy Messerschmitt in the early 1930s. It was one of the first true modern fighters of the era, including such features as an all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, and retractable landing gear. The Bf 109 was produced in greater quantities than any other fighter aircraft in history, with a total of 33984 units produced up to April 1945. Fighter production totalled 47% of all German aircraft production, and the Bf 109 accounted for 57% of all German fighter types produced. A total of 2193 Bf 109 AE were built prewar, from 1936 to August 1939. Some 865 Bf 109 derivatives were manufactured postwar under licence as Czechoslovakian-built Avia S-99 & S-199s and Spanish-built Hispano Aviación HA-1109 and HA-1112 Buchons. The Bf 109 was the backbone of the Luftwaffe fighter force in World War II, although it began to be partially replaced by the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 from 1941. Originally conceived as an interceptor, it was later developed to fulfill multiple tasks, serving as bomber escort, fighter bomber, day-, night- all-weather fighter, bomber destroyer, ground-attack aircraft, and as reconnaissance aircraft. Although the Bf 109 had weaknesses, including short range and challenging take off and landing characteristics, it stayed competitive with Allied fighter aircraft until the end of the war. The Bf 109 was flown by the three top-scoring fighter aces of World War II ...

www.safeandvaultstore.com Sitting here beside me is the most innovative product the gun safe industry has ever seen. AMSEC's new BF Burglary Fire Gun Safe which comes with a impressive list of features that no other gun safe in the industry has. Starting here with the door, this door was designed with a 1/2 inch steel plate barrier and then it has a 1" concrete fire protection mixture which we call DriLight. Drilight is an advanced poured concrete installation material that provides a dry and seamless barrier to protect from burglary and fire. Here we have a cutaway showing you the design of the door that I just explained. This is the 1/2 inch steel outer skin with a 1 inch seamless DriLight offering a fire and burglary protection barrier and then the 16 gauge inner skin behind the DriLight. Comparing a conventional gun safe door design to our BF design, the conventional gun safe design typically has a very lightweight steel outer barrier compared to our 1/2 inch solid steel plate. For the fire protection it will offer a gypsum board or also referred to as a drywall compared to our seamless poured DriLight material. With the drywall, often times when pieced together in the corner, you will get gaps in the corner of the safe giving a breakdown in it's fire protection that the DriLight does not do. The body of the BF comes with 11 gauge outer steel and 2 inches of the DriLight material and a 16 gauge inner steel liner. The total steel thickness is just over 10 gauge with 2 ...
www.nitroplanes.com What the Pro say... Simply the best ARF warbird I have ever seen. It's a whole new level for CMP. Quality is top notch. It goes together quickly, but keep in mind that this is a somewhat complicated airplane with lots of features, so you are not going to get it together in two evenings. The fuse is fiberglass, prepainted. It has a tremendous amount of detail. The tailwheel is in the scale position, rather than just sitting on the rudder post, and it has a neat linkage to connect to the rudder. There are multiple scale details on the fuse, such as seperately molded fiberglass exhaust stacks, airscoops, belly pan, and a neat belly tank that uses standoffs for better appearance rather than just being stuck to the bottom of the fuse. The wings are very cool. There are three servos per wing...flaps, ailerons, and airbrakes. All servos mount from the bottom with the neat CMP servo mounts with fairings, and all hinging and horns are done with hinge points and horny hinge points for better appearance. The airbrakes are very cool, one pops up from the bottom and the other from the top, using a clever provided mechanism. The plane is set up for retracts, and the retract mounts are hardwood and well-secured. Fixed gear with scale strut covers and gear doors are also included. The spinner is amazing, about six inch diameter, of scale profile, made just for this model. The canopy frame is prepainted. The wingtips have places for lights to be inset, and clear ...
