Baucus Health Care Bill has no followers yet. Be the first one to follow.
What are we paying them for? What are we paying them to do? Democrats AND Republicans you are here by put on notice. Besides being so arrogant and self righteous to not even read the Bill you say you wrote......your lack of intelligence to admit you didn't read what you say you wrote in public...... just unbelievable. Congress and the POTUS...... the chickens in deed have come home to roost..... Republicans you are not better...... but Harry, Nancy, Obama and Max Baucus your days of what you call "serving" America are short. And if we don't like the new crew we vote in we will vote them out 2012...... What a joke of a Congress we now have........

www.RonPaul.com 05 Introducing the Private Option Health Care Act by Ron Paul Most everyone agrees that health care in the United stated has major problems, the biggest problems relating to skyrocketing costs. No one doubts the system is in need of reform. However, too many in Washington see tighter government controls as the solution. In fact, the problems are rooted in past government controls that created more problems than they solved. Ironically, laws and policies in the 1970s promoting health maintenance organizations, resulted from desperate attempts to control spiraling costs. However, instead of promoting an efficient health care system, HMOs took far too much control away from patients and physicians and gave it to the insurers. This excessive reliance on third-party payers instead removed incentives for insured patients to economize on health care costs, and allowed the problem to snowball. Furthermore, the third-party payer system created a two-tier health care system where people whose employers could afford to offer Cadillac plans have access to top quality health care, while others face financial obstacles in obtaining quality health care. For these and other reasons I introduced the Private Option Health Care Act last week. This bill places individuals back in control of health care by replacing the recently passed "tax, spend, and regulate" health care law with reforms designed to restore a free-market health care system. First, the bill would provide all ...
Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont.) has admitted that some Americans making less than $200000 per year will face tax hikes under ObamaCare. Such tax hikes are a violation of President Obamas firm pledge not to raise any form of taxes on those making less than $250000 per year. During remarks tonight on the Senate floor, Baucus said: One other point that I think its very important to make is that it is true that in certain cases, the taxes will go up for some Americans who might be making less than $200000. As Americans for Tax Reform has pointed out repeatedly, the healthcare bill signed into law contains seven tax hikes that unquestionably violate Obamas middle class tax pledge. Obamas promise remains for all to see at the Change.gov website: no family making less than $250000 will see their taxes increase.
Democrat Speaks against The Baucus Bill 3 22 2010 On March 21, 2010, Barack Obama signed the Baucus Bill (otherwise known as the Health Care Reform Bill). I have been against this since the beginning of its proposal. Knowing the deficits our nation has accrued over the last nine years, the act of allowing tax payers to continue suffering in our current economy is not the answer. Furthermore, it is said that if citizens do not enroll in the new health care plan, we are fined anywhere from $750 to $3800 per year. This goes against the Constitution and our right to make choices for ourselves and our families. If you did not vote for the bill, make a video stating you did not vote for the bill and why. Speak up or forever let our government dictate us. During health care debate on the Senate floor, Senate Finance Chairman Baucus (D-Mont.) admits the true cost of the Democrats' $2.5 trillion health care bill while Republicans question him about Democrats' attempts to use budget gimmicks like separating a bill to pay for adequate Medicare reimbursements to doctors the so-called doc fix from health care reform legislation.
In this episode of "The Senate Doctors Show" Sen. John Barrasso, MD, (R-WY) and Sen. Tom Coburn, MD, (R-OK) answer health care reform questions about Democrats writing a health care reform bill behind closed doors, the costs of government health care, and how reforms would affect the supply of doctors. Republicans want real reform that's transparent, lowers health care costs, and doesn't add to the debt.

Oct. 13 Senate finance committee passes Baucus health reform bill. With support from a lone Republican, a key Senate finance committee Tuesday approved a middle-of-the-road health care, delivering a broad boost to President Obama.
