Dutch security is now denying Haskell's eyewitness report, on the basis of having reviewed 200 hours of surveillance video. Haskell, however, is sticking with his story, and has located another passenger who (he says) corroborates his account, but this witness is afraid to step forward out of fear of being in the spotlight. Haskell also asks a reasonable question: why don't they release the surveillance video, just like the US authorities released video of that idiot in New Jersey who snuck through security? Additionally, there are all sorts of other questions that arise when we consider how the Dutch handled security at Schiphol in this instance: for example, all passengers at Schnipol are interviewed, an innovation introduced by the Israeli companies that provide security services there. No doubt these interviews are videotaped, or at least there must be some account of the interview, either from interviewer or his notes: let's see them. I refuse to believe that Mutallab, being interviewed and sitting there with a bomb in his underpants, wasn't sweating bullets at the very least. How did he explain himself? What did the interviewer ask? On Sunday afternoon, armed officers rushed aboard the same Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines flight that was attacked on Christmas Day, but the perceived threat wasn't much of a danger -- just an ill traveler who spent too much time in the bathroom. Coming so soon after a Nigerian was accused of trying to blow up a plane, authorities quickly responded to an emergency call from the crew on Flight 253 from Amsterdam. Some of the 256 passengers were rattled while others apparently weren't aware of the incident. Passengers were safely evacuated, and luggage was lined up on the ground for inspection by bomb-sniffing dogs. The passenger, involved also Nigerian, was a businessman who was sick and posed no security threat, said two law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the incident. The traveler in question had "spent a lengthy time in the restroom," FBI spokeswoman Sandra Berchtold said. "This raised concerns so an alert was raised."

Police search for Detroit bomb accomplice Dec 29 2009 BBC Reuters Dutch police say they are investigating the possibility an accomplice may have helped the Nigerian man accused of trying to blow up a plane over Detroit on Christmas Day. Two witnesses say they saw a tall, middle-aged man with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab at Amsterdam's international airport before he boarded the plane. Abdulmutallab is in a Detroit jail after he attempted to detonate an explosive during the flight. The 23-year-old, who was on a US intelligence watchlist, allegedly tried to set off an explosive device sewn to his underwear as the airliner came in to land but was stopped by passengers and crew. He was treated in hospital for burns he received while trying to detonate the explosive and has since been moved to prison. The US President Barack Obama has ordered full reviews of America's airport security and the country's terrorism watch lists. Abdulmutallab's family say they lost contact with him months ago, and reported his disappearance to the authorities. The son of a respected former banker, Abdulmutallab is from a privileged background in Africa's most populous country, most of whose estimated 140 million people live on less than $3 a day. In 1997 representatives of the Society for the Conservation of Nature of Liberia and the Forestry Development Authority visited villages in the vicinity of Sapo National Park (Liberia, West Africa) shortly after the disarmament of combatants following a 7-year civil war. They were accompanied by Nigerian peacekeeping forces. This video captures the spontaneous reunion of conservation workers and friends and inhabitants of Jalay's Town-- a small village which borders on the west side of Sapo National Park. These people had been in hiding and fearful of their safety for years and had left the road to their village partly uncleared to prevent the rapid entry of unfriendly forces. Villagers accompanied the group to the nearby Sinoe River which is the western border of the park. This was the first post war effort to reestablish Liberia's only national park following a tragic civil conflict.

Phoenix and federal authorities detained two Middle Eastern men accused by a passenger of acting suspiciously aboard a Phoenix-bound plane Saturday evening. An investigation by the FBI found no evidence of a terroristic threat and the men were later released without charges. While en route from Orlando, Fla. to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, a passenger aboard US Airways Flight 192 reported that two men were acting strangely, said Suzanne Trevino, a Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman. "The passengers alerted the flight crew and they called for law enforcement and TSA officers to meet them when the plane arrived," Trevino said. Once the plane arrived at Sky Harbor for its scheduled stop about 8 pm, the two men were met by Phoenix police, TSA and FBI officials, said Special Agent Manuel Johnson, a FBI spokesman. The passenger told authorities the two men, described as being Middle Eastern, were speaking "loudly" in their native language. The passenger then saw a suicide bomber on the DVD version of the movie "The Kingdom," and one of the men reportedly got up to use the lavatory when the fasten-seatbelt sign was lit. "The totality of those three occurrences led this passenger to believe this was suspicious," Johnson said. this video shows heavy Aircraft spraying on 15.11.2009 over Lower Austria which could be a terrorist act in order to trigger a flu pandemic here in Austria like in Ukraine. So far the virus has stayed mild and not turned as violent as it is in the Ukraine where 1,45 million people are infected and the infection took place overnight. There is hard evidence that the reason for this overnight outbreak in Ukraine of the much more lethal type of pneumonia-related swine flu broke out after heavy overnight aircraft spraying activity. Having followed normal Chemtrail activity over our ground for almost 6 months I recognized this attack as different as usual from several perspectives. 1) unlike past Chemtrail experience the aircraft trails lingered quite fast and produced huge fields of white haze. 2) there were all sorts of different planes and trails involved which made the whole attack look like a war invasion of all available enemy forces. 3) I catched a pilot to turn the Chem-button ON/OFF 2 times after signs of emptiness of his tank appeared in the sky. (it could be done without pilot intervention with the last "drops" of the tank showing up in the air). Three people have been reportedly killed and several others wounded after police opened fire on demonstrations held in support of Palestinians on the annual Qods Day. The attack happened as hundreds of people came to the streets of Zaria in Kaduna state in northern Nigeria on Friday. It was not clear what provoked the fighting. Sheik el-Zazky, a Muslim leader, said his followers reported three people were killed and 12 wounded. Several demonstrators have also been arrested. "They began stoning the police and then the trouble erupted. The police used firearms in self-defense," Assistant Police Commissioner Abubakar Danmalam said. More than 200 ethnic groups generally live peacefully side by side, although civil war left one million dead between 1967 and 1970. This comes after a leaked intelligence report detailed possible government plans to attack Members of an Islamic Movement in Nigeria called Boko Haram. The group had organized the rallies. Security forces had been stationed in and around Zaria since last week. The group alleges the Nigerian government had decided in a high level security meeting to "phase out" its top members.
A day after the Nigerian president said calm was restored to the north, gun battles broke out again between government forces and Boko Haram fighters seeking sharia across the country. The plot was based on the true story of Harry Powers, who was hanged in 1932 for the murders of two widows and three children in Moundsville, West Virginia. Grubb explores the presentation of the American South in the aftermath of the American Civil War. He uses tropes of the Southern Gothic genre to explore issues such as social corruption and instability. The figure of the Preacher is a symbol of the corruptive social force of religion in the American South. While the disruption of the family unit emphasises the broken sense of Southern identity after the War.

Cardinal Rex Lawson by John Beadle Until his untimely death in the 1970s, Erekosima (Rex Jim) Lawson was a standard-bearer of the Nigerian highlife scene whose tunes achieved popularity across Africa. Of mixed Kalabari and Igbo parentage, he was born in the town of New Kalabar in present-day Rivers State, and got his start in Port Harcourt's Starlite Melody Orchestra, led by "Lord" Eddyson. By 1960 he was leading his own group, the Nigeraphone Studio Orchestra of Onitsha and had played with the "big names" of Nigerian highlife - Bobby Benson, Roy Chicago, Victor Olaiya and others. With his second group, the Majors Band of Nigeria (variously called the "Mayors Band," and in later years the Rivers Men), he scored innumerable hits over the sixties and early seventies, notably "Jolly Papa," "Adure," "Ibi na Bo," and many others. Of these, the biggest was "Sawale," in pidgen English, which has become an African music standard and been remade numerous times by various artists. Lawson's fluency in various languages and dialects has only enhanced his appeal across class and ethnic lines in West Africa. In the 60s during the thick of the Biafran war and to boost morale of the Biafran people, Cardinal Rex Lawson released an album titled Hail Biafra .
