Get Over It is a 2001 film directed by Tommy O'Haver. The film mixes concepts from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and from stereotypical American teen comedies of the time, the latter being a very frequent genre for a number of films at the time.
When Berke Landers, a popular high school basketball star, gets dumped by his life-long girlfriend, Allison, he soon begins to lose it. But with the help of his best friend Felix Woods' sister Kelly, he follows his ex into the school's spring musical (ultimately to try to win her back, oblivious to the fact that Kelly clearly has feelings for Berke). Thus ensues a darkly hilarious love triangle loosely based upon Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, where Berke finds himself getting over Allison and beginning to fall for Kelly.
