I ordered from 8ty8beauty.com. Reviews for this site are not always the best so I initially wanted to order from transdesign.com but the day I wanted to place my order, Refresh Mint went out of stock! So 8ty8beauty.com was the last online store selling CG Up and away at a discount. When placing your order with 8ty8 they will not give you a total of your purchase because shipping is still pending. Why? I have no idea. It states approximate shipping is $7.00 for one pound. That sounded reasonable. But after purchasing I called their store just to double check as they suggest. I was told differently. Even though I told him specifically I was only ordering 12 nailpolishes he gave me a rundown of 1-3 nail polishes $7.00 which I highly doubt 3 polishes will weigh 1 pound; and the prices go up from there depending on the number. So their policy on shipping is misleading. I received my order in about 3 business days w/ no problems! So besides the shipping amount my experience was fine. I've been blonde for a bit now, and these are the products that I find work best for me. Keep in mind that you don't have to have blonde hair to use most of these products, I just don't think the violet shampoo/toners would do anything for darker hair :) You'll notice how dry and in NEED of moisture/protein your hair is after you do any kind of lightening, whether it be all over or maybe a few highlights. Hopefully I help someone out there :) You can find wide tooth combs at drugstores and beauty supply stores :) Do your research before settling on a lightener/bleach. It may do extreme damage. Shampoos/Conditioners: Redken Extreme. Bed Head Moisture Maniac/Some Like It Hot. Biosilk Silver lights. Biolage Matrix Conditioning Balm. Styling products: Chi Silk Infusion/Keratin Mist. My hair routine and some general tips on how to keep your hair healthy :) + a mini collective haul Note: I can only judge the products from my own experience, so they may not work on everyone else, especially if you have a different type of hair from me. My hair type: Dry, coarse (like fishing wire coarse *_*), thick hair with natural waves (or wannabe baby waves lol) My most common problem: FRIZZINESS! My hair gets frizzy even a few hours after it has already dried. I get the best results when I wash my hair at night. I always apply some sort of anti-frizz product when it's wet. Then I let it air dry (completely) before going to bed. The frizziness usually die down before I wake up :) If it's still wet before bed time, I would blow dry until my scalp is thoroughly dried. Just a short review and hair demo (very very very very rough!) as I was on my way out and wanted to show how quick using the Samy thickening product could be. I purchased mine at Superdrug and prcies are: Samy Fat Hair Thickening shampoo £5.49 Samy Fat Hair Thickening Styling Cream about £6-7 I really love the thickening cream. I've tried quite a few thickening mousses, sprays etc and this cream is the best I have tried so far at giving my hair a bit of volume but cream holding style too. My hair type: Dry, coarse (like fishing wire coarse *_*), thick hair with natural waves (or wannabe baby waves lol) My most common problem: FRIZZINESS! My hair gets frizzy even a few hours after it has already dried. I get the best results when I wash my hair at night. I always apply some sort of anti-frizz product when it's wet. Then I let it air dry (completely) before going to bed. The frizziness usually die down before I wake up :) If it's still wet before bed time, I would blow dry until my scalp is thoroughly dried. A quick video on how to wash your makeup brushes. This saves you money, since you don't need a whole bottle of shampoo just to wash your brushes.
