Beth Grant (born September 18, 1949) is an American actress. She is known for playing characters who are very strict, conservative, religious zealots and sticklers for rules. <p>She has appeared in dozens of films, including Speed, Love Field, Donnie Darko, Sordid Lives, A Time to Kill, Little Miss Sunshine,Child's Play 2 ,Daltry Calhoun and Factory Girl. Grant has also appeared in many TV shows, including Malcolm in the Middle, The X-Files, Friends, CSI, Six Feet Under, My Name Is Earl,King of the Hill, Angel, and Judging Amy. In 2006, she appeared as a recurring character in nine episodes on the CBS drama Jericho. <p>Grant was born in Gadsden, Alabama to Elizabeth, who managed a state employment security office, and William Grant, a poultry specialist.
