The Big 12 conference appears to be breaking up.
Colorado officially joins the Pac 10, thus ending the Big 12, come 2012. OU and others will follow suit soon. Nebraska is Big 10 Bound, while Kansas, K-State and Baylor could be Mountain West bound, with Iowa St. perhaps without a viable conference.
With Mizzou and Nebraska inching closer to joining the Big 10, and the Oklahoma Sooners and company perhaps leaning toward the Pac 10, it's looking more and more like the Big 12 Conference will soon be extinct!
The Big 12 is at the end of it's rope. With Nebraska and Missouri given a week to decide their "loyalty"; it's become more apparent that this conference is as good as dead. The Huskers and Tigers will soon join the Big Ten and the majority of the Big 12 South will become new members of the Pac 10. I'm not sad, yet, I'm not happy either.

Now the Huskers will be happily heading south to the Big 12 championship game in Arlington, Texas, after Saturday night's 17-3 victory over Kansas State. The Huskers (8-3, 5-2) clinched the North Division with their fourth straight win and will play South champion Texas on Dec. 5 for the conference title and a BCS bowl bid. "We've steadily improved and we've hung together," Nebraska coach Bo Pelini said. "We were in a tough spot after the Iowa State game, and everybody wanted to write us off.
