William Jefferson "Billy" Garland (b. June 17 1918, Flowood, Mississippi - d. March 16 1960, Chicago, Illinois) was an American blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter.

Garland was famous for his falsetto singing combined with gentle guitar playing style. Much of Garland's output was recorded from 1940 – 1950, including 1945's Got Nothing on Me.

Billy Garland died in 1960 in a car accident in Chicago. His pioneering contribution to the genre has been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.

  Biggie & Tupac is a 2002 feature-length documentary film about Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur, made by Nick Broomfield. It is an investigation of the deaths of the two (which occurred within six months of each other), which some people claim were orchestrated by Suge Knight, head of Death Row Records. It is much to the credit of this film that the investigation into the death of Christopher Wallace AKA The Notorious B.I.G. has since been reopened. While the film remains inconclusive, when asked "Who killed Tupac?" in a BBC Radio interview dated March 7, 2005, Broomfield stated "The big guy next to him in the car... Suge Knight." ...,
