This is Norwood Lane. The Entrance to Paston Ridings Travellers Site. Its actually a two lane road but due to the amount of rubbish that has been dumped along its length its been reduced to one lane. People are charged £50 a time for dropping a cigarette in the centre but travel a couple of mile out of the centre and there this! There is another site within two miles of this one which is in only slightly better condition and Peterborough City Council want to increase the amount of sites without dealing with the current ones. You and your music is what these Able Planet headphones are all about. This version of them, called True Fidelity is ideal for those that like to sit back, relax and enjoy their tunes. As soon as you put them on, they cancel out a great deal of outside sound and are soft and comfortable. If you travel a great deal they would be beneficial to take on the airplane with you. The case is durable and it comes with a few different adapters in case you wanted to plug the headphones into a home stereo system, Airline audio systems, MP3 players etc. If you're one to turn the volume up to capacity you'll enjoy these because the sound doesn't get scratchy the way some headphones do. While I do like where the volume adjuster is placed on the cord, one thing I don't like about these headphones is that to be able to listen to someone on the outside, you have to take the headphone completely off.
If finding answers in the real-world resulted in the same kind of unrelated and overwhelming information that most search engines provide you with, something as simple as planning a vacation would be way too much to handle. The new decision engine, Bing, is here to prevent search overload syndrome and make sure that you find exactly what you're looking for. www.bing.com

Competition in the travel space online has always been tough. Add a recession to the mix and things just get tougher. Travel is one of the first things people mark off their list as discretionary spending pools shrink in the down economy. That doesn't mean there aren't opportunities however. At SES San Jose, I talked with Roger Wong of Bing Travel about some ways marketers can adapt to the economic environment.
A classic Warner Brothers cartoon about a group of flies who live in a kitchen, one of them the caricature of Bing Crosby, singing and showing off for the swooning females. When a large spider suddenly threatens the flies, the crooner cowardly dives into a roll of wax paper, while the rest of the male flies work together to defeat the spider. This was one of two WB cartoons (the other one was "Let It Be Me") that Bing Crosby himself filed lawsuits against for portraying him in a "defamatory" manner.
(PLEASE USE HEADPHONES!) This is my Final Project for my DXARTS 460 Sound class. The parameters for this piece were simply "Make me a 5 minute sound composition". And I quoted him too. My idea for this piece started out as "What sounds would things make that can't make sound?" I was thinking of tangible objects at first. Then I started thinking bigger like "what sounds would the moon make?" It then dawned on me how I could make my piece a narrative while also exploring the artistic qualities of sounds and spaces that cannot be visited or heard by humans. I chose to create my interpretation of sounds of a nebula and a black hole swallowing it in deep space. First, some quick facts: a nebula is a star forming region of space made up of gas and dust, usually the remnants of a supernova (an exploding star). Over time, this gas and dust solidifies into a new star. Nebulas are some of the most beautiful locations in space and are very popular with amateur astronomers (like myself). www.bing.com A Black Hole is what is left of a star after it has gone supernova, but instead of exploding, it implodes instead. This creates a gravitational singularity so strong, not even light can escape. Think of a sphere sitting in space that if you get too close, you are slowly ripped apart molecule by molecule over an infinite amount of time until you are completly "spaghettified" into a long strand of atoms. Not fun. These black holes are all over the place and are thought to be at the center ...
Bing is designed to help people overcome search overload and make faster, more informed decisions when searching online. No longer satisfied with the status quo of search, Microsoft designed Bing as a Decision Engine to provide people with intelligent search tools to help them simplify tasks and make more informed decisions, from simple decisions such as choosing the fastest route to get home to more complex ones such as researching a product purchase or planning a trip. Bing is available at bing.com.

techpulse360.com With Bing, Microsoft is not really about creating another search engine, but more about helping users accomplishing their tasks, like buying a plane ticket or shop. 40% of users queries go unanswered To do so, the computer giants latest decision engine employs semantic technologies to both try to make sense of the content of Web pages and the users queries. We use the term semantic technologies in a more loosely fashion than some would, said Mark Johnson, Microsofts Senior Program Manager for Bing (and formerly at startup Powerset acquired by Microsoft) speaking this week at the Semantic Technology Conference in San Jose, Calif. For Johnson, vertical search is what really matters for users, not a series of blue links or search results spit out by the search engine. Microsoft plans to expand the number of verticals (to perhaps around a dozen) that it now offers with Bing (travel, shoping, news, maps).
Microsoft rolled out a new search / Decision engine called Bing on June 3 officially. Previously it was called Live Search. Since this is a major improvement feature wise and technically, they decided to rebrand it. It has very nice and easy to use interface, has new features like travel search, shopping and its multimedia search beats everything. This video is a review / news of Bing. Try it out and you will fall in love with it.

This is another performance filmed for my now legendary documentary, "The Strange World Of Northern Soul". Lou Ragland was born July 18, 1942 in Cleveland Ohio. One of three children born to Carey and Violet Ragland, Lou received his formal education in his hometown of Cleveland. His parents encouraged and opened their young minds to almost every cultural institution in the state of Ohio. They were taken to plays, operas, parades, museums and conventions and things of nature such as the beach, lakes, covered bridges, caves and parks.Lou was introduced at a very early age to music and musical instruments. The home was always filled with the sounds of the world¹s greatest performers of all time, Such greats as Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Johnny Ray, Ear Grant, Ray Charles and composers such as Bach, Beethoven and Brahms. At the age of thirteen, Lou was even more inspired when he heard a song played on the radio called ³Goody, Goody², sung by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers. From then on in school Lou learned to play any musical instrument he could put his hands on. The tuba, clarinet and also sax just to name a few. He also excelled in sports, especially track and won many awards. While in school some of Lou¹s constant companions were Wilkie, Abram, Ronnie, Jimmy and Leonard. Some of them eventually sang in his very first group, ³The Monclairs². In 1967 he released this solo song, "I Travel Alone" for Bell Records' imprint called Amy. To this day it remains ...
