GameBooster software and swiftshader (maybe...) are used for enhancing the pcsx2 performance. So the first thing you need is PCSX2 for mac (the first link). You will also need xQuartz (second link), nVidia developer tools (third link), PCSX2 BIOS (fourth link) and finally, games which can be downloaded from the fifth link. The BIOS file is a .rar and you may need this (unrarx.com/) to open it. Once you have installed everything, open PCSX2 and click config. Then select the BIOS folder (which you unrared with unrarx). Then you are going to have to configure the controls. There is no set controls so you can set them up any way you would like on your keyboard (or game controller). Once you have set up the controls, you are ready to play games. You can download games from the link below. Once again I am not responsible for anything you download, download at your own risk. I know the game and the sound look very laggy and slow but that's because of Camtasia. It reduced drastically the FPS to 30 when I usually get 50-60 FPS (the game runs faster). Welcome to my First HD Tutorial! I will be showing you guys how to configure Pcsx2 0.9.7 Beta Emulator. It is the best configuration indeed! Now there is added a new option on the tab of "SpeedHacks" and it's called "Preset" That will get use to you if your game is running slow! You can adjust it by yourseld and it's very easy to use. If your game is running still slow even with the option "6 - Mostly Harmful" than this might help a little bit : Unclick the "Preset" box. Than slide down the "VU Cycle Stealing" to number 3. www.gigasize.com 1. Download PCSX2 and install. (Skip Step 2 if you plan on using Linuz Cdvdrom) 2. Download Daemon Tools and Install 3. Download PS2 BIOS (See above) 4. Download GSdx Plugins (See above or go to PCSX2 Forums and go to the GSdx thread) 5. Put the BIOS and the Plugins in the PCSX2 directory in the appropriate folders (Skip 6-8 if you have the ISO already) 6. Put your PS2 Disc into your drive 7. Run PCSX2 go to "Config", go to "Cdvdrom", Pick "EFP ISO" 8. Click on the Cdvdrom Config, select the drive your PS2 CD is in, select the "Get from Disc" button (Skip 9-13 if "linuz cdvdrom" works with your game) 9. Once your ISO is finished being made run Daemon-Tools 10. Right click on the Daemon-Tools icon in the bottom right corner and assign it a virtual Drive 11. Now mount the image (The ISO) to the Virtual Drive 12. Go back to PCSX2, go back to the Config, Go back to cdvdrom and select "Gigaherz" 13. Config "Gigaherz" and select the Virtual Drive your ISO is now mounted to 14. Go to the BIOS and Pick the appropriate BIOS 15. Go to the "CPU" Tab, look under the "Features" if it says SSE/SSE2/SSSE3 or any of these go back and Select a GSdx Plugin that has one of the Features. 16. In this video, I go step by step on how to install and play PS2 games directly on your Mac. We will be running a free PS2 emulator called PCSX2. I have tested this and it's 100% working on Mac. So the first thing you need is PCSX2 for mac (the first link). You will also need xQuartz (second link), nVidia developer tools (third link), PCSX2 BIOS (fourth link) and finally, games which can be downloaded from the fifth link. The BIOS file is a .rar and you may need this (unrarx.com/) to open it. Once you have installed everything, open PCSX2 and click config. Then select the BIOS folder (which you unrared with unrarx). Then you are going to have to configure the controls. There is no set controls so you can set them up any way you would like on your keyboard (or game controller). Once you have set up the controls, you are ready to play games. You can download games from the link below. Once again I am not responsible for anything you download, download at your own risk. This is the tutorial,in which you can learn how to configure your PCSX2 Sony Playstation Emulator on PC 1.Download PCSX2 Emulator( 0.9.6 version installer with plugins) - pcsx2.net 2.Download Playstation 2 BIOS - www.megaupload.com 3.As shown on video,run the setup and install PCSX2 Emulator. 4.In your instalation directory,open folder Bios,and extract contents from downloaded PCSX2 BIOS WinRar/Zip in there. 5.(If you downloaded March 2010 plugins pack)Extract March 2010 plugin pack to your root instalation folder.(when asked:Do you want to overwrite'' select ,,Yes to all'' as on video) EDIT:March 2010 plugins are not downloadable separatly anymore,at least on official pcsx2 site.Newest plugins are included in pcsx2 0.9.6 binary. 6.Start PCSX2 r-1888.exe and configure it as shown in video.(select BIOS for your region-America,Europe,Japan) 7.Leave plugins as they are,and if you want,go to Misc menu and deselect Enable console option. 8.And you are done,you can configure further in Confing menu(Graphic,Controller,Sound) to your liking.(Be carefull with Graphic tough,if you are running on slow or old pc,you won't be able to run games if you have set all settings on high,so try lowering them if you get any kind of that problem.)
