Hanit Pilnick talks about the 'healing parents' method. Hanit gives examples of how parents influence their children, and how they can heal them. A healing parent is a parent who knows his influence on his children, from the moment of conception, until they leave the world. A healing parent is a parent who takes full responsibility on his life and cleanses himself, since he knows that when he cleanses himself he will virtually prevent much suffering, will alleviate existing suffering, and will also heal. And it can be any type of suffering. It can be an emotional suffering, of a socially banished child; it can be a child having a physical problem, for example pneumonia. it can be a thirty five year old girl who wants to get pregnant but cannot. As if all the guilt parents have anyway is not enough, comes Hanit Pilnick, and claims that everything, all that relates to your child, either it is a physical or mental problem, it is all related to you. But still there is something encouraging: you can also correct. And she developed a healing method called 'healing parents', and we're going to talk about it during the interview

Tony Leung is Cheung Suk-Wai, a famous image designer who finds love a minefield. His curse: to create female media idols and fall in love with them - only to be dumped when they become more famous than he. His newest project is cute mainlander Ah Yu (Vivian Hsu), who he resists before succumbing to. He simultaneously becomes attracted to his strict new boss Vivian (Ada Choi), who is rumored to be a lesbian. Meanwhile, best pal Patrick (Alex Fong) finds himself questioning his player lifestyle when he falls for his longtime friend Mei (Suki Kwan). As is typical with these sitcom UFO set-ups, the plot gets resolved with wit, insight, and plentiful metaphor. This is a well-written and well-acted piece of HK entertainment that is reminiscent of Yuen's past scripts, as well as the work of US auteur Woody Allen. In particular, the film seems to share a link to the 1993 UFO film Tom, Dick, and Hairy. Both films deal with the male experience of romance, and both films leave their issues fully explored but ultimately ambiguous. It's refreshing to find a well-written commercial HK film that's as thoroughly enjoyable as this one. After too many seemingly dour roles, Tony Leung rebounds with an inspired comic performance. Equally good is Alex Fong, who shows range as the pathetically likable Patrick. On the other hand, Vivian Hsu's performance hurts the film, though it may be a fault of her idealized character, which is an otaku's pin-up girl fantasy. More credit should be given to ...

The mini-series follows the history of the Roman Empire, from approximately the death of Marcellus (24/23 BC) to Claudius' own death in 54 AD. As Claudius narrates his life, we witness Augustus' attempts to find an heir, often foiled by his wife Livia who wants her son Tiberius to become emperor. We also see the conspiracy of Sejanus, the infamous reign of Caligula, and Claudius' own troubled period of rule. I, Claudius (1934) is a novel by English writer Robert Graves, written in the form of an autobiography of the Roman Emperor Claudius. As such, it includes history of the Julio-Claudian Dynasty and Roman Empire, from Julius Caesar's assassination in 44 BC to Caligula's assassination in AD 41. The 'autobiography' of Claudius continues (from Claudius's accession after Caligula's death to his death in 54) in Claudius the God (1935). The sequel also includes a section written as an autobiography of Herod Agrippa, contemporary of Claudius and future King of the Jews. The two books were adapted by the BBC into an award-winning television serial, I, Claudius. In 1998, the Modern Library ranked I, Claudius fourteenth on its list of the 100 best English-language novels of the 20th century.

Who Brought The Slaves To America? by Walter White Jr. (1968) The story of the slaves in America begins with Christopher Columbus. His voyage to America was not financed by Queen Isabella, but by Luis de Santangelo, who advanced the sum of 17000 ducats (about 5000 pounds-today equal to 50000 pounds) to finance the voyage, which began on August 3, 1492. Columbus was accompanied by five 'maranos' (Jews who had foresworn their religion and supposedly became Catholics), Luis de Torres, interpreter, Marco, the surgeon, Bemal, the physician, Alonzo de la Calle and Gabriel Sanchez (1). Gabriel Sanchez, abetted by the other four Jews, sold Columbus on the idea of capturing 500 Indians and selling them as slaves in Seville, Spain, which was done. Columbus did not receive any of the money from the sale of the slaves, but he became the victim of a conspiracy fostered by Bemal, the ship's doctor. He, Columbus, suffered injustice and imprisonment as his reward. Betrayed by the five maranos (Jews) whom he had trusted and helped. This, ironically, was the beginning of slavery in the Americas (2). The Jews were expelled from Spain on August 2, 1492, and from Portugal in 1497. Many of these Jews emigrated to Holland, where they set up the Dutch West Indies Company to exploit the new world. In 1654, the first Jew, Jacob Barsimson, emigrated from Holland to New Amsterdam (New York) and in the next decade many more followed him, settling along the East Coast, principally in New Amsterdam and ...
"Its All Earth and Sky!", was the reaction of one German-Russian immigrant when she arrived on the plains of the Midwest. Like many others who came to the region seeking a land of promise and opportunity, she and her family enduredand prevailedon this rich, expansive landscape. Immigration implies departure as well as arrival. Transport from one country to another may mean deportation; it inescapably includes exile whether voluntary or forced, and brings disruption to families in the old country and in the new. Immigrants require courage and fortitude, even when they are weak and poor. Like many others who have come here seeking a land of promise and opportunity, Germans from Russia have suffered and they have prevailed. Since their background and history is as rich in texture as it is in diversity, they serve here as a model of assimilation of other ethnic groups into American society. Five representative Germans from Russia who have attained success and stability share their insights on the process of becoming American.

"As time passes, the Qur'an grows ever younger." Which writer can claim that whatever he writes is absolutely correct and cannot be contradicted until the Last Day? At a time when the conclusions of science soon become 'outmoded' and worn-out and even the previous Divine Scriptures such as the Torah and Gospels undergo continuous alterations-even a superficial study of the issues of the Bible published in different times and in different languages will be enough to see the great alterations it has undergone-the truths of the Qur'an retain their freshness or, in the words of Said Nursi, 'as time passes, the Qur'an grows ever younger.' Despite all the efforts to find mistakes and contradictions in it exerted since the beginning of its revelation, it has remained unchanged and displayed its uniqueness, conquering every day new hearts and its hidden unlimited treasures being discovered one by one or growing to full bloom like a heavenly rose with countless petals. The Qur'an addresses and legislates for all in all times However knowledgeable you are and if you are famous for your truthfulness, can you speak on behalf of the president, the prime minister and all of the ministers, and also on behalf of the associations of literary men, lawyers and craftsmen, and the board of university lecturers and scientists? If you can, can you claim that you represented them all as perfectly as each would want you to? If you can, can you legislate for all the affairs of the country? This is ...
Surah Ikhlas (Chapter 112) of the Glorious Qur'an, is the touchstone of theology. 'Theo' in Greek means God and 'logy' means study. Thus Theology means study of God and to Muslims this four line definition of Almighty God serves as the touchstone of the study of God. Any candidate to divinity must be subjected to this 'acid test'. Since the attributes of Allah given in this chapter are unique, false gods and pretenders to divinity can be easily dismissed using these verses. If Prophet Muhammad had written the Qur'an by himself, he should never have mentioned some incidents concerning him. However slight, there are some admonitions for the Prophet in the Qur'an. No one, especially if that one claims Prophethood, mentions a grave slander against his wife in the book he writes by himself. Whereas, the Qur'an gives an important place to the slander hypocrites uttered against 'A'isha, the Prophet's wife. In order to show practically that Islam does not allow any racial discrimination and that superiority is only by piety and righteousness, not by birth, color, race, wealth or position, the Prophet married Zaynab, a noble woman from the Hashimites, to Zayd, an emancipated black slave. However, verses revealed later ordered that, in order to put an end to an established false tradition-namely, neither adoption nor any other way of declaring someone a son can create a legal relationship comparable to the relationship of children and natural parents, and there is no difficulty and ...

Almost 800 years of coexistence between Muslims and Christians gives a lot of substance for the festival of Moors and Christians. You can participate in this historical play almost every month in some town or village of the Spanish Mediterranean coast. There is hardly a castle without a role in the struggle for supremacy over Al-Andalus, an Arabic name for the land ruled by Muslims in 711-1492. In its widest it covered modern Spain, except for Asturias, most of Portugal and the southern part of France. In some towns the stage performance goes on for days, featuring the most important phases of local history. The scenes of many battles, schemes and alliances take place in town squares, castles, harbours etc. Most of the plays start from the reconquest, the process by which Christians re-conquered the Iberian peninsula. Depending on the town, the closing scene of the play involves the conversion of Moors to Christianity or their expulsion to Africa. This is just yet another small piece of the multitude of concrete evidence showing the actual race of the original Moors. Certainly there were indeed non-black Moors particularly AFTER the initial conquests. There are a number of reasons for this. The Moorish invasion was not one of race but of religion. There were many non-black Muslims. In fact the very purpose of the invasion was rooted in a desire to spread and expand the Muslim faith. Any of the conquered had the opportunity to convert to the faith. Additionally, and most ...

Paolo Bacigalupi visits Google's San Francisco office to present his book "The Windup Girl". This event took place on May 26, 2010, as part of the Authors@Google series. Noted short story writer Bacigalupi (Pump Six and Other Stories) proves equally adept at novel length in this grim but beautifully written tale of Bangkok struggling for survival in a post-oil era of rising sea levels and out-of-control mutation. This complex, literate and intensely felt tale, which recalls both William Gibson and Ian McDonald at their very best, will garner Bacigalupi significant critical attention and is clearly one of the finest science fiction novels of the year. Emiko is a windup, an engineered and despised creation, discarded by her master and now subject to brutality by her patron. The actions of these characters set in motion events that could destroy the country. Bacigalupi has created a compelling, if bleak, society in which corruption, betrayal, and despair are commonplace, and more positive behavior and ...

CLICK THE LINK http:fashionwithfifi.com/ The have great promotions and contests all the time go check them out How do hormones normally affect hair growth? A small degree of hair loss is always present. Random hairs shed or break off so that with every brush of the hair, some hairs are at the end of their natural cycle. This natural hair growth cycle (anagen phase) takes as long as 6-10 years. This is followed by a resting, nonmetabolic phase (telogen) that lasts for about 2-3 months (range 6 weeks to 6 months). At the end of the telogen phase, the hair shafts slough off. These phases are important because many hormones, medications or diseases can change phase duration and thus accelerate hair loss or cause more than a normal amount of the hair to be in synchronous growth and then slough. For example, estrogens during pregnancy prolong the anagen growth phase and when pregnancy is over, a large number of hairs go into the telogen resting phase. As expected, 6 weeks to 6 months later large amounts of hair break or slough. It gives the impression that one's hair is all falling out. Actually hairs gradually go back to their random pattern of growth and rest and the "hair loss" problem subsides. In addition to whatever treatment your doctor is giving you for the alopecia areata, you might also want to try essential oil therapy to rub on the scalp to stimulate hair growth in the patchy areas. One study showed almost a 50% improvement in women with alopecia areata who used a ...
