UMS review number 4! I decided to stick with the arcade theme again as they are classics. Big Blue is a classic top down view flying shooter game. I'm sure there is a word for them but I always forget. It has the exact same feel as all those games we played growing up as a kid. Map Name: Big Blue Map Download: www.sc2mapster.com Husky Rating: 6/10 Reason: I want to be honest about why I gave it a 6. It all comes down to content, enjoyment, replay value, and completion. I'll talk about that below. Pros: This game feels JUST like ones you'll play in the arcade. Very easy to understand and the controls are great. The map as a whole has TONS of potential and I cant wait to see it fully develop. VERY strong foundation for a super epic map! Read the cons carefully! Cons: There just isnt much content atm. The first 3 bosses are Overlords/Overseers and the first 10 minutes of mobs are one of two skins. There is only one type of weapon. Only 3 ships. BUT, all of this stuff is a work in progress. This game would easily reach an 8 had I reviewed it a month from now. I am super excited about this map I just simply have to rate it for its current state.

Confession Time I was never a fan of Robert Pattinson. I am basing that assessment on the actors most famous role to date, the lovelorn vampire Edward in the Twilight films. I thought he delivered wooden performances in both movies. But after watching Pattinson in the new film Remember Me, I can now honestly say, Im intrigued by this actor. He carried the movie from its shaky start to its heart wrenching conclusion. Unlike his Twilight co-star, Taylor Lautner, Pattinson is making brave career choices. While Lautner will soon be busy working on standard thrillers like Abduction or sure-fire blockbusters like Stretch Armstrong, Pattinson will bury himself in art-house films like Bel Ami and Water for Elephants. Taking a cue from Johnny Depp, Pattinson peppers his resume with iconic roles such as Edward, and memorable characters like the one he played in Remember Me. He stars as Tyler, a rebel with a cause who has serious daddy issues. Now that Im a grownup, director Tim Burtons version, inspired by Lewis Carrolls classic, did not completely satisfy me either. I find the new 3-D event catering to its young audience. Burton has never been a solid storyteller in my book, but hes a visionary and a great actors director. Thats probably why Alice in Wonderland is Johnny Depps seventh collaboration with him. Burton knows how to get his actors to emote. Indeed, the cast provides the spectacle starting with Depp as the Mad Hatter. He slips right into the quirky role with so much ease. The Mad Hatter is a tragic figure, yet Depps performance gives the character a wounded yet lofty air. Watch for the actor dancing near the end. A decision I scoffed at but the audience loved it with glee. In many Burton films, the characters, even the good ones, are slightly off. So Anne Hathaways White Queen is a little off-center and thats a good thing. The actress relished channeling Glinda the Good Witch, from her softly spoken voice to the fluttering of her hands. Helena Bonham Carter, Burtons partner and muse, is the scene stealer of the film. Shes the Red Queen, the reigning ruler of Underland and Alices nemesis. The group concentrates on covers of modern rock and pop songs, though also perform soul, folk, hip hop, dance and regularly perform their own comedy sketches. They regularly perform in Oxford and travel extensively around the UK having performed in schools all over the country. In recent year gigs have included performances at Edinburgh Castle, Nassau Coliseum at an NHL match between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders and for guests the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel. As pioneers of college a cappella in Europe, they have travelled to the USA and were instrumental in starting the first European regional competition for the International Championship of College A Cappella. Zack Snyder's "The Watchmen" is a question in the morality of men and women that dress up as masked vigilantes. Do they succumb to the evil and sin that they were brought up to fight or do they stand together united to fight common evil in an age of communist's rise to power and Nixon's answer. Rooted in Alan Moore's masterpiece "The Watchmen" are super heroes pulled out of retirement after one of their members Rorschach (played by Jackie Earle Haley) discovers that a murder has taken place among their elite group, the Comedian (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Rorschach takes it upon himself to warn the Watchmen that someone may be killing masked heroes. Although met with pessimism by his former partner in crime-fighting, Nite Owl II (played by Patrick Wilson), the former members soon realize that there is validity in Rorschach's suspicion, there is something out there to get the Watchmen. But of what purpose? I heavily enjoyed this film for many reasons, it's a visual masterpiece with characters ranging from the socially damned in Rorschach, to the hero of god-like proportion in Dr. Manhattan (played by Billy Crudup). It is so multi-layered in it's character design that I constantly found myself wondering what motivates them to act as they do, what drives them to fight crime and seek justice in the face of annihilation? Visually this movie is stunning, I was in awe of Dr. Manhattan the entire movie, I could not help but to shut my brain off and simply listen to his every ...
