"Bob Dylan's 115th Dream" narrates a surreal experience involving the discovery of America, the cast of Moby Dick and numerous bizarre encounters. It is the longest song in the electric section of the album, starting out as an acoustic ballad before being interrupted by laughter, and then starting back up again with an electric blues rhythm. The music is so similar in places to Another Side of Bob Dylan's "Motorpsycho Nitemare" as to be indistinguishable from it but for the electric instrumentation.
"Garden Party" was a 1972 hit song for Rick Nelson and the Stone Canyon Band from the album Garden Party. It tells of his being booed off the stage at Madison Square Garden, seemingly because he was playing his newer, country-tinged music instead of the 1950s-era rock that he had been successful with earlier, and his realization that "you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself". On October 15, 1971, a Rock 'n Roll Revival concert was given at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The playbill included many greats of the early rock era, including Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, and Bobby Rydell. Nelson came on stage dressed in the then-current fashion, wearing bell-bottoms and a purple velvet shirt, with his hair hanging down to his shoulders. He started playing his older songs "Hello Mary Lou" and "She Belongs to Me", but then he played The Rolling Stones' "Country Honk" (a country version of their hit song "Honky Tonk Women") and the crowd began to boo. While some reports say that the booing was caused by police action in the back of the audience, Nelson took it personally and left the stage. He watched the rest of the concert backstage and did not reappear on stage for the finale. The song tells of various people who were present, frequently in an oblique manner ("Yoko brought her Walrus", referring to Yoko Ono and John Lennon), with a quietly defiant chorus: But it's all right now, I've learned my lesson well You see, you can't please everyone, so you've ...

Bob Dylan often playfully refers to Communism in many of his earlier recordings. This can be heard in the songs, "Talking World War III Blues" and "Talkin' John Birch Paranoid Blues", among others. The chord progression and lyrical flow in "Motorpsycho Nightmare" is re-used on the song, "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream", which was released the following year on the album Bringing It All Back Home. The new song was among Dylan's first electric compositions. The song makes a reference to Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 movie Psycho and to the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita. The song was translated and performed in Finnish by artist Juice Leskinen for an early demo tape. White Zombie pays homage to this song in "Thunderkiss '65'" in the second stanza: "Livin' fast and dyin' young, like an endless poetry. My Motorpsycho Nightmare freak out inside of me." The story of this song is parodied in the Seinfeld episode The Bottle Deposit, Part 2, where Newman ends up at a remote farmhouse with a farmer and his proverbial daughter.

In a friend's house he was introduced to the music of Bill Haley and Elvis Presley, and taught himself the guitar in school. Majaw then moved on to Kolkata (Calcutta) where he played in bars and pubs for various groups such as the Dynamite Boys, Vanguards, Supersound Factory, and Blood and Thunder. In 1966, Lou was introduced to Bob Dylan's work. Inspired by his music, he later organized a "Dylan's birthday concert" in Shillong on 24 May 1972. Since then he has organized the concert each year on 24 May to pay obeissance to Dylan, with the shows eventually gaining national and international fame. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| LHM

I was walking through a wild borderline town two flags on the jailhouse roof and frost on the ground the hotel band were singing there were jewels in your hair and then the smoke blew in and made the little room an everywhere the television man got loaded and cried into his drink the wallflower women they all blushed pink and nobody there even had to think about how far they'd got to go to reality row PJ walked in he'd just been stoned all day he had some big ideas but he threw them all away outside the crowd was restless there was no leader in sight the funeral had been cancelled so they'd all turned up for the fight I walked straight into the bar room and ran right into you we hadn't met before but I always knew we were going to you said it doesn't half show you've been too long on reality row The candles burned lower as the dancers looked for number 9 the streets were deserted when the drunken priest he died and you tell me all about your marital complications well you can save them up for your 19th century charity reservations wrap me up in your long coat and scarves let me take you away from this place surrender to the stars you said I'll have to say no to reality row A newsflash on the big screen the four riders yelled IMPROVE I thought I heard the thunder coming but nobody moved the whiskey flowed like water as the ground gave way everybody was placing bets too busy to even pray you shrugged your shoulders said let's go to reality row I was walking, well, we were ...
