Some would say, destiny was at Melbourne, Australia, in April of 1975. The two young lads would meet for the very first time. Englishman, Graham Russell and Australian, Russell Hitchcock met as cast members in the stage production Jesus Christ Superstar. Working closely together, a friendship began to evolve. A friendship that would prosper over the next 22 years. Their similar passion for music, led Graham to share his songs he had written, with Russell. As the friendship grew, so did their incredible love for music. The quest to follow their dreams had begun. They found that their talents were accepted by the small crowds in which began multiplying by the numbers. In 1976, Graham's dream came into existence. Air Supply was born! The stage production ended and magnificently, with a single already released in Australia, Graham and Russell's moment came. They set out on an adventure; to find success. Its new music time and today it's all about the power-pop-punk superstars we call Paramore. Twitter.com - Follow Us! Hey guys-Joslyn Davis here with your ClevverTV new music update. Paramore took the music world by storm with their sophomore releases RIOT. Songs like "Misery Business," "Born for This," and of course the Twilight soundtrack hit "Decode," made Paramore a household name. Then of course the band went on tour with bands like Jacks Mannequin and more recently No Doubt, where they played to 15-thousand-person areas every night. So now fans are wondering how this next installment which is called "Brand New Eyes" will compare. The first single, "Ignorance" is already getting some attention-and the band took time to shoot a great performance-based music video for the track. Followers of the group question whether or not this will be RIOT part 2, or something totally fresh. Well, from what we're hearing and seeing of "Ignorance," the band is still giving us the strong rock vibe and Hayley's vocals are as hypnotizing as ever. But this song has a very aggressive, almost angry tone which I don't think we've really heard before. The song comes across as being really confident, and definitely will leave fans wanting more from these guys. According to front woman Hayley Williams, the songs will chronicle the emotional ups and downs of keeping the group intact while dealing with nonstop touring and creative differences. Williams also writes about love and her struggles ...

Born in Corning, New York, in 1938, he began playing the guitar at the age of five, emulating his cowboy hero, Gene Autry. His family moved west to Arizona in 1951. [edit] Music In early 1954, in Coolidge, Arizona, Eddy met local disc jockey, Lee Hazlewood, who would become his longtime partner, co-writer and producer. They moved to Phoenix and together created a successful formula based upon Eddy's unique style and approach to the guitar, and Lee's experimental vision with sound in the recording studio, and have been referred to as one of the greatest hit-making machines of the Rock and Roll era. His first album, Have Twangy Guitar Will Travel, contained six hit singles, and remained on the charts for an astounding 82 weeks. Later in his career, Eddy was interviewed by John Fogerty for Musician magazine about his style. Fogerty called it '"big" both in a sense of it being new and the actual sound quality itself. Eddy told Fogerty, "I knew we had to have something big, we did go for a big sound. I have to give a lot of credit to Lee Hazlewood. He mixed things for AM radio in those days so that they would come rockin out of the radio." Eddy introduced a unique, twangy sound to rock and roll guitar. As John Fogerty wrote in Rolling Stone about his style, "His sound is one of those untouchable, unique things...Duane Eddy was the front guy...the first real guitar god in rock & roll."[2] Combining strong, dramatic, single-note melodies, the bending of the low strings, and a ...

Matt Monro (1 December 1930, Shoreditch, London 7 February 1985, Ealing) was an English ballad singer who became one of the most popular entertainers on the international music scene during the 1960s. Throughout his 30-year career, he filled cabarets, nightclubs, music halls and stadiums, in Australia, Japan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong to Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. He sold more than 100 million records during his lifetime. In 1960, George Martin was looking for a singer to record a Frank Sinatra-styled ditty that would open the album Songs For Swinging Sellers, to be used strictly as a guide for Peter Sellers to imitate. Martin offered it to Monro, and when Sellers heard the recording he decided to use it, but billed Monro as "Fred Flange." Though it was a demoralizing experience at the time, the incident developed into a lifelong friendship with Martin, who subsequently asked Monro to begin recording with him for EMI's Parlophone record label. Their second single, "Portrait of My Love," reached number three in the UK Singles Chart. By the following year, he had been named Top International Act by Billboard magazine, and his follow-up hits included "My Kind of Girl" (1961), "Softly as I Leave You" (1962) and the song from the James Bond film, From Russia with Love (1963). For the latter, his vocals were not used in the opening titles, as became the standard for the series; they were heard on a radio during the film and over the final credits ...

This is Sergio Mendes & Brasil '77 - Love Music (1973), for Bell. This is perhaps the first Sergio Mendes album with no Brazilian songs I see. I don't know if it is the only exception, but it seems to me that we have an effort to make Love Music a blockbuster, all songs are very popular, you will probably have the feeling that you heard everything before. This is certainly a transitional album to the further "pop" phase. Love music is infectious from the start to end, the girl's vocals works very well and the percussion on top of the pop arrangements are also very nice. Personnel listing was already built on last challenge, but I will list it again, Brazil '77 features top-notch musicians.
