Alle Videos von schwatzgelb.de: www.schwatzgelb.de Boys from Planetdortmund pay Dortmund a visit Borussia playing Wolfsburg and the boys from Scotland attending? We had to take the opportunity to chat to Kenny, Kevin and Craig before the match. We invited them into Dortmund's famous Rote Erde stadium, which hosts a great beer garden and of course these days is home to our second team. Up until 1974 people would climb up the trees to watch Borussia play. They saw Borussia thrash Benfica, they saw Scheiße player Friedel Rausch bewilderly looking at a dog bite. In Rote Erde German Sheperd Dogs knew whom to attack. The fans were standing next to the pitch, sometimes even crossing the line. "Rollis Sahne Schokoladen" Ice-Cream was sold and roasted almonds were a must have for the young fan. The older ones would follow a Dortmund tradition and drank the famous "Stifts" beer. Rote Erde was build in 1926 and was Borussia's home from 1937 onwards. During the roaring 60s it had a capacity of 42.000 people and in 1967 hosted the Germany vs Albania Euro Championship qualifier, which Germany won 6-0. When Westfalenstadion was opened right before the World Cup in 1974 the wooden auxiliary stand on the east side was demolished. But other than that the ground has bascially been untouched in all those years. Today it is heritage-protected. But our beloved game has not been untouched by time. Not only the style of play has changed but the way we go and see a match has changed. The game has ...

Protestors gathered for a large demonstration in Edinburgh to condemn Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and blockade of Gaza, its illegal apartheid state and its ruthlessness in killing anyone who stands in the way of its plans, including humanitarian aid workers in international waters. The humanitarians were taking much needed aid including medical supplies and building materials to the besieged Gazans, walled up on all sides except for the sea, in what has been described as the world's largest open air prison. The Israeli soldiers are not letting adequate amounts of food in and have also contaminated the Palestinians' water supply with chemicals. They will not allow the Palestinians the means to replace parts needed for the maintenance of a sewage plant in Gaza. No doubt Israel hopes to add cholera, typhoid, hepatitis and all sorts of other ills to the Palestinians' suffering when their systems are already weakened through an inadequate food supply and chemicals in the water. Half of all Gazan children are anaemic. This is nothing short of a slow genocide. Demonstrators all round the world have demanded an end to the siege of Gaza, an end to the occupation and have called on their governments and citizens to boycott produce and ambassadors from apartheid Israel. Shouts of "boycott Israel", "free Palestine", "end the siege of Gaza" and "no justice, no peace" could be heard throughout the demonstration in Edinburgh which gathered at the foot of the Mound off ...
Boycott M&S - Prince Street -Edinburgh - 5th June 2010 following the attack on the freedom flotilla
Demonstrations were organised world-wide on Saturday 5th June 2010 as well as on the same day that Israeli marines murdered 19 unarmed humanitarian workers on a convoy of aid ships that were headed for Gaza in Palestine. Nearly 4 years ago the Israelis placed the Palestinians under siege in the Gaza strip with high thick metal walls around the area into which the Palestinians have been squeezed with little food, no means of repairing the schools, houses and other necessary buildings and no access to materials to maintain the sewage treatment plant. The untreated sewage, the high levels of chemicals the Israelis add to the Gazans' drinking water and the infrastructure of schools and hospitals being damaged or destroyed is slowly killing the Palestinians (not to mention those who are killed quickly by an Israeli soldier's bullet.) Palestinians have been getting squeezed more and more out of their land and displaced by zionist settlers who either move into their houses or have them demolished to make way for building a new home for the settler. Anyone trying to stop the bulldozer is demolished along with the building. Many Palestinians have been killed this way as well as American woman Rachel Corrie after whom one of the aid ships was named. Most Palestinians have now been squeezed into the Gaza strip, many of them without a roof over their head. As Rachel Corrie and other international aid workers, reporters and international observers have discovered, they too are ...
After a Scotland-wide demonstration in Edinburgh against the atrocities committed by the Israelis in killing unarmed civilian aid workers in international waters who were delivering humanitarian aid to the besieged Palestinians in Gaza who have been trapped there by the Israel government in what has been called the largest open air prison in the world, a rally was held with several speakers. Among the speakers was a representative from the FBU, the Fire Brigades Union which has been to the fore of the trade unions speaking out on behalf of the Palestinians. He welcomed the decision of the STUC, the Scottish Trades Union Congress to launch an official BDS - boycott, disinvestment and sanctions - campaign against Israel's apartheid state. Sanctions helped to bring down the apartheid state in South Africa as well as give hope to those despairing of there ever being an end to apartheid. The Gazans are suffering a genocide, being blockaded with inadequate rations or sanitation and a lack of building materials. The Israeli government has shown how determined it is to not let basic aid through to the starving families, many of whom do not have a roof over their head as the Israelis have destroyed their homes. The FBU donated 30 sets of structural firefighters kit which was loaded onto the Rachel Corrie boat but as with the recent aid ship, the Israeli navy forced them into an Israeli port and seized all the provisions. This time they did not murder the international workers but ...

Boycott Israel protest outside Marks & Spencer in Princes Street, Edinburgh.
Scotland demonstrates in Edinburgh against Flotilla International Activist killings, for Divestment, Boycott and Sanctions on Israeli Government. Stop the siege of Gaza. Free Palestine. End the Occupation.
Scots people, outraged at Israel's atrocities in killing unarmed civilians in a convoy delivering humanitarian aid to the Gazan Palestinians suffering under the blockade, took to the streets to protest. Protests took place in Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee, Inverness, Aberdeen, Moffat, Banff and in Glasgow. The Glasgow demonstration took place in George square and after gathering and listening to speeches interspersed with chanting from the crowd, the demonstrators began to march around the square with chants of "Free, free Palestine! End the siege of Gaza!" and "Israel, terrorist!" There was a sea of Palestinian flags and placards reading "end the siege of Gaza" or "boycott Israel". There is a much bigger Scottish-wide demo planned for Saturday as well as one down south in London. Pressure will be put on all heads of government to sever diplomatic ties with Israel until they have lifted the blockade on Gaza and stopped the genocide they are perpetrating on the Palestinian and the murders of anyone who tries to give humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
Demonstrations all round the world took place hours after Israeli forces opened fire on 700 international workers delivering humanitarian aid in a flotilla to Palestinian families besieged in Gaza, killing 20 and wounding many more. The flotilla was attacked by Israeli navy commandos, an act of piracy if not outright war. Condemnation has been almost universal and among the speakers at a rally in front of the City Chambers in Glasgow's George Square was Barrie Levine from Scottish Jews For a Just Peace. Not all Jews support the state terrorism practised by Israel and Jews with a conscience condemn the actions of Israel and support a boycott of its apartheid regime, just as people boycotted South African goods during its apartheid regime. The state of Israel abuses the memory of those who died in the holocaust to justify any horrific action it chooses to inflict on the Palestinians in its quest for more power and more land. It is in fact committing a genocide of its own. Victims of the holocaust would be turning in their graves if they knew that their deaths were being used to deter people from criticising and more to the point, taking action against Israel, for fear of being accused of anti-semitism, of being anti-Jewish. It is not Jews but imperialism and capitalism that are the problem, the quest for more land and resources. Religion is merely one of many tools that can be misused for power by imperialists. It becomes easier to convince people to go along with any ...
Glasgow people united in condemnation of the Israeli massacre of international aid workers who were delivering aid to the Palestinian civilians who are under seige in the Gaza strip. More and more Palestinian land has been occupied by the Israelis, houses bulldozed and anyone who resists, regardless of their age is killed by Israeli soldiers. On top of that, a slow genocide is being committed, as Israel has contaminated the Palestinian water supply with high levels of chemicals causing birth defects and children and pregnant women are especially fired upon by troops. The beseiged Palestinians in the Gaza strip, squeezed into a small area inadequate for proper sanitation or farming are slowly being starved to death. A huge wall has been built around the area and it has been likened to a large prison. People are not allowed in or out. Aid workers have tried to deliver humanitarian aid but are themselves targetted as we have seen. It is not the first time that sympathetic people from other countries have been targeted by the Israelis. During worldwide condemnation of the massacre of civilians over the Dec 2008 - Jan 2009 period a UN building was bombed by Israel. This is what neutral (and even countries friendly to Israel) get if they dare to so much as criticise Israel's illegal actions. Israel fits the definition of an apartheid state. A boycott of South African goods, culture/sports and abassadors contributed to the end of apartheid in South Africa and gave moral support ...

Many of his thrillers are set in Germany: this time in Berlin's Hotel Adlon at the beginning of the 1930s.An American hotel guest dies, a Jewish boxer is found floating lifelessly in the canal, and the Americans want to boycott the Olympic Games. ARTS.21 asks Philip Kerr about his predilection for Germany.
