Bradley Cooper (born January 5, 1975) is a film, stage, and television actor. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is from Irish and Italian Heritage.
After graduating from Germantown Academy in 1993, Cooper attended Georgetown University, from which he graduated with a B.A. in English in 1997. Later, he studied at the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University before beginning his professional acting career on the television series Sex and the City in 1998. He also served as the host of Lonely Planet's Treks in a Wild World in 2000, and made his film debut in Wet Hot American Summer (2001), before landing his best-known role as Will Tippin in the successful television drama Alias (2001–2003). He returned twice to Alias as a guest star after leaving the show in 2003, and he also guest-starred on the short-lived TV series Miss Match in the same year.

Failure to Launch (2006) is an American romantic comedy film. It is a loose remake of the French film Tanguy, being solely based on its premise, the overgrown thirty-something child who does not want to leave home.The movie opens with Trip (Matthew McConaughey) and Melissa on a dinner date. Things seem to be going well, until Melissa sees an elderly couple sharing dinner and it prompts her to ask Trip, “Where is our relationship going?” Trip says that he sees it going back to his place that night. His place is a lovely two-story home. While they're in the heat of passion in Trip's bedroom, Trip's dad Al (Terry Bradshaw) walks in without knocking. Melissa flips out that Trip still lives with his parents and storms out.
