A Larimer County Sheriff's spokesman confirmed that the boy was inside the balloon, which she described as "a homemade helium balloon made to look like a UFO." Reports said the boy got into the device, which it described as a "home-made flying saucer" at his family's home in Fort Collins and that it then came loose from its tether.
