I was about to go to bed, then i saw a girl covering this fresh song. Then i found a tab on ultimate guitar to cover it, i made a fex correction in it, and then i try to play it (that's the video ;) i'm watching at the lyrics while playing). Now i can go to bed. Peace everyone!

4/10 www.youtube.com This is the lead single from Broken Bells: a new collaboration between producer Danger Mouse and James Mercer of The Shins. I'm really crossing my fingers and hoping this track isn't representative of the entire album. Though Danger's production is spot on--as usual--Mercer's singing, songwriting, and delivery just leaves me a little underwhelmed. Not enough contrast and not enough originality to get me going, sadly. I could understand people getting into his laid-back approach, though. It's just not winning me over. www.theneedledrop.com Support TND bit.ly Subscribe to our podcast: bit.ly Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com

downcast - broken Bells "this song is like a soundtrack for a dream i had the night before i wrote this. the jist of it was there was a large cathedral in the middle of this small empty normal town , and at midnight the cathedral tower would ring this most strangest rings, and "shift" the town into this creepy silent hill like reality. the buildings would decay and age, these strange "metaphysical looking creatures" would appear, and the town would be in habited by these hairless strange looking "people/aliens". any who, reality would shift for the time the bells rang, but the bells were broken (cracked) and should not of worked at all.. hence the name" MP3 -- jeremyadshade.com right click/save link as.. please my little project i did in 2000 -2001. downcast was an audio type of mandala i did to explore different facets of life. i never intended to share these tracks with anybody, but over the years people have found out i wrote these and asked for cds or for me to do some type of show, so this is my answer to these requests
