A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to New York City, United States by TravelPod blogger Dreyes titled "Day 2 Brooklyn & Knicks Game". TravelPod is a company of TripAdvisor™. Dreyes's travel blog entry: "Get up! D & G woke up and headed out to not miss out on the day. We went down to Chelsea to Adorama camera store to get a temporary case for our new Panasonic DMC LX3, the camera being used to take these photos on our trip. We walked up 6th Avenue enjoying the dry and some what warm weather. We stopped for lunch at New York's Burger Company on 6th & 21st [678 6th Avenue, www.NewYorkBurgerCo.com] which was nonstop busy with waves of people in and out. Ariel and Phil met up with us and decided to head out to Brooklyn. We explored Brooklyn's Fulton Landing, the area under the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. The surrounding streets of old cobblestone with patches of cement, lined with a mix of unknown warehouses and unique stores. We hopped on the subway to explore Brooklyn's 7th Ave & 9th Street and got lured into a huge sale at Brooklyn Industries. Gare bought a nice messenger bag - to carry his coat! I'm sure he'll find another use for it. We walked through the side neighborhoods and admired the row of brownstone homes that were still decorated with Halloween pumpkins and witches. We wanted to check out Di Faro's Pizza [1424 Avenue J, Brooklyn], which was featured on the Food Network for the best pizza ever but it was getting late we had to head back to ...

www.BostonLuxuryRealEstate.com - Built upon a former tidal marsh, the South End was filled and developed from the 1830s to the 1870s, even before Back Bay, which was mostly built after the American Civil War. The Boston and Providence Railroad once ran through the South End, and most of the cross streets in the neighborhood are named after cities and towns served by the railroad... Greenwich, Newton, Canton, Dedham, Brookline, Rutland, Concord, Worcester, Springfield, Camden, Plympton, Stoughton, Waltham, Dover, Chatham and Wareham. Until the 1950s, the South End was a jazz mecca, with numerous jazz clubs scattered throughout the neighborhood. Today, the neighborhood is one of Boston's most diverse, integrating people of nearly every race, religion and sexual orientation. The recent influx of families with young children has become a growing and important facet of this community, and is complimented by a myriad of parks and playgrounds scattered throughout the neighborhood. Theatre and art galleries are flourishing in South End. The Cyclorama, The Boston Center for the Arts, the Boston Ballet, numerous theatre companies and the new Calderwood Pavillion - the first new theatre built in Boston in 80 years, along with the live music venues such as the Beehive make Tremont Street a lively area in the evenings. The South End is one of Boston's main restaurant districts. Tremont Street, often referred to as "restaurant row" offes a diverse mix of cuisines from bargain priced ...

According to Getaway's website: These great bus tours were started by Tony Muia, a proud native Brooklynite. He's been showing people around for more than 30 years. It all began when visitors complained about not being able to find a decent pizza. Well, Tony knew where they were and blended sightseeing and great pizza stops. The flamboyant guide's motto is: "Manhattan? Fuhgettaboudit!". He takes his bus along tree-lined streets of brownstones, to Coney Island's historic amusement park and boardwalk, million-dollar homes along Shore Road, Trump Village where Donald Trump's father made his fortune, and the history of pizza from Italy to Brooklyn. Tony will also tell you about some famous Brooklynites — it's a font of talent! Countless movies have been filmed in Brooklyn, including Saturday Night Fever, Scent of a Woman, The French Connection and many more. Tony and his DVD player work together and as you reach a location you watch the clip that ended up in the film. On the 4.5-hour tour you'll have two sit-down meals. At Grimaldi's you will tuck into a blackened, thin-crusted Neapolitan pizza. It was a favourite haunt of Frank Sinatra, and if he couldn't pop in for a pizza, he would have one delivered to his hotel. The next food stop is at L&B Spumoni Gardens. Its thick and saucy square slices have been served since 1939, and people travel from across New York for them. Getaway host Jules Lund loved Tony's tour — it was fun and cultural and he would recommend it to anyone ...

Frisco & Felicia go back to the brownstone. She tries to get rid of him, but he insists on staying to help her get her memory back. He leaves to get pizza from their favorite pizza shop. Felicia is talking to Anna on the phone. She's telling Anna how Frisco won't leave. She quickly hangs up when Frisco returns. She says she isn't hungry; Frisco reminds her that pizza is her favorite food. He tells her how she loved the apartment, that Tony & Tania lived there before them, & that they had wonderful times there. She suggests they go to a movie theater. When Frisco questions her about how she knows about it, she covers by saying she saw it on the way to GH. She finally gives in & starts chowing down on the pizza. Felicia is alone when she hears a noise in the hallway; its Decker. They talk about Frisco & Dawn. Frisco was called to GH after the medavac helicopter Colton was supposed to fly was hijacked. Robert arrives. He thinks it's part of a possible prison break. Back at the brownstone, Decker tells Felicia to get rid of the cameo. After he leaves, Jimmy comes down from the stairs where he was hiding. He is about to break into Felicia's apartment, when Tony, Bobbi, & Lucas come up to see her. She mentions that something happened to Colton at the hospital. All rights belong to ABC.

He draws a map of the brownstone. She pumps the kid for info on Tonys favorite food. Tony is shocked that Lucas is able to calm down and focus for more than 3 seconds. Tony wants to reimburse Carly for her services even though she refuses. He insists. She asks for pizza. He is thrilled to find another pizza lover [apparently there is a drought of them in PC]. Tony sits down and wants to know what Jones family secrets hes been spilling. They joke around. Bobbie joins the gang. They talk and Carly gets up to leave for home. All three Joneses are very pleased with their new friend.
Part 43. Claudia puts the Brownstone folk through the aerobic paces. They're all ready to go home so Felicia tries to stall them. Just as they're all about to leave, Chinese take out that Frisco ordered for them all arrives so everybody stays for dinner. Anna and Duke go over the plan on how Duke is going to fake his own death. Before they enter the Brownstone, Duke professes his love for Anna. Robert tells Bert that Duke's his... he asks Bert not to use his gun. Bert agrees ... But when Anna and Duke arrive, Bert pulls his gun out and shoots at Duke before Robert can react. Anna, realizing that Bert was the one who shot at Duke, freaks out. Tony comes running down the stairs and demands an ambulance because Duke is dying. Frisco and Felicia are stalling Terri and Patrick from returning to the Brownstone by eating a second dinner of pizza. In the ambulance, Tony is putting white makeup on Duke who is very much alive. Duke can't figure out how Bert could have missed him at close range.
Part 26. The Brownstone women visit Lila and pay their respects about Alan. Stella can't stop crying. Anna comes to question Lila about Alan's flying lessons. Alan/Simon helps Charity's son move a bushel of cauliflower. Alan/Simon asks if he can work for Charity in exchange for room and board. Charity hires Alan/Simon. Edward gets a pizza delivered but he can't pay for it so Tiffany pays for it.
