WOW man i am achieving very good speed with bsnl evdo in Jaipur. After reading so many reviews mostly were negative i was not sure whether to buy it or not. But now i am enjoying super fast speed at very cheaper rates. Just Rs. 750/- per month unlimited usage. Downloading is mostly around 350 kbps.
BSNL, the first 3G service provider in India has now launched 51010 Dial A Video service. BSNL subscribers can make a video call to 51010 to watch Live TV and an exciting assortment of videos at Rs. 2/- per minute only. What sets this service apart is its no frills attached features. The user doesn't have to download any application, access any portal, activate any special service and most importantly won't be paying any data usage or download charges. All that is needed is a handset with video calling facility and a BSNL 3G connection. After subscribers make a video call to 51010, they will be greeted by a menu which can be operated through DTMF keys. The user can then choose Live TV or videos ranging from different genres like Music videos, Funny clips, Sports, Kids, Devotional or Health & Fitness. BSNL is also planning to include services like Astro Chat, Celebrity Chat, 'Dial A Movie,' 'Dial A Game,' 'Dial A Contest,' and 'Dial A Doctor' wherein the user will get consultation from a physician in real-time. Subscribers can also dial 5101000 and choose from the various subscription packs. Users can choose to pay Rs. 25 for 15 minutes of usage with a validity of 7 days or can go the long haul by paying Rs. 299 with unlimited usage for 30 days.

Here's how fast the internet speed of Mobitel 012 3G Internet. I try out the USB 3G Internet from Mobitel. And the result is so so cool. You can download up to 773KB per second (that's Kilobyte or Kilobits), it is the real download speed you see when you download something from internet. And upload speed is just so damn fast, it's up to 128KB per second. You rock with the internet speed Mobitel. But there's a catch guys, don't get excited too fast. Here the good things and bad things about it (that's only my opinion) Good things: ----------------- 1. The 3G USB Broadband Modem (HSDPA 7.2MB) itself is very good price. It costs only $30. But you have to buy a new 3G Simcard with it, which cost you $5 + $1 (this is minimum for 1st top up). So together it cost you $36 to have it. The $5 is for 1 Day "Unlimited" plan, and $1 is just reserve when the $5 is finished. 2. Yes, the internet speed is probably the fastest among all mobile phone network in the country today. 3. And i guess that's all. Not-So-Good Things: ---------------------------- 1. This USB Modem can work only with Mobitel Network (012, 017...). It is fair cos the price is good. 2. About the "Unlimited Plan", it is "unlimited" with a "limited" or fair usage policy. With daily plan $5 "unlimited", u can use for 1.5GB. With weekly plan $20 per week, u can use for 7GB. And for Monthly plan $50 per month, u can use for only 20GB. Well for some, it is fair policy, but for some it is not. Everything else, it's cool!
